I fell in love with this idea!!
Ps. Peter is five years old but the whole team is here (Wanda, vision, (t'challa walla bing bang would be here but he's too busy keeping Shuri from yeeting empty cans around the lab so he stays in wakanda) and Rhodes . (Scott would be here but he has a kid too so their spending quality time together making a tree house))

"Peter Stark, if you don't get your butt in this car by the time I count to five, we won't go at all!" Tony called from the garage. Lately, the team had noticed the boredom of the child as he mindlessly stomped throughout the compound so they had made a collective decision to have a family day out to visit the zoo. Peter had been excited about the trip for a while and the five year old wouldn't stop running around the building.

"One." The entire team (besides Natasha who was quickly stuffing a pair of sneakers onto the boy's small feet) was sitting in the large minivan. They had been waiting for Peter and Nat for the past twenty minutes and Tony had finally lost his patience.

"Two." Upon hearing this, Peter let out a squeak and ran down the steps towards the garage with his shoelaces untied. Nat sighed in annoyance and picked up his bag before following the energetic five year old at a much slower pace.

"Three." Peter feel flat on his face after tripping on his own two feet. He pushed himself off of the ground and kept running, determined to go to the zoo. He pulled at the large door handle to gain access to the main hallways that lead to the garage.

"Four." He knew the route like the back of his hand. He rushed past the many doors to the seemingly infinite rooms. Tears began pouring down his face - he knew he wasn't going to get there on time. What he didn't know was that Tony was just using empty threats, an annoying habit that parents seemed to love.

"Five-" Peter burst through the door, panting and crying like a lunatic. He yanked the car door open and dived on his car seat. Once he buckled his seat belt Natasha waltzed through the door and sat down next to Clint. She didn't seem panicked or upset that the trip had nearly been cancelled. She looked content however Peter noticed her tapping her fingers on her thigh, she would only do that when she was excited.

They arrived to the zoo in a matter of minutes. The car hadn't even stopped before Clint tore his seatbelt and Peter's off and made a mad dash to the entrance. Clint's hoodie pulled firmly over his head protected him from being noticed by eagle-eyed fans.

(Eheheheh)

The rest of the team quickly caught up with them and they headed through each enclosure slowly. Peter desperately whined when they tried to move on from his particular favourite, the grizzly bears. Whenever there was a second of silence between the constant arguing in the disfunctional family, Peter would claim he wanted to 'go see the funny bears'. Bucky - the ever silent super soldier - picked him up and moved him along to the next exhibit whenever he looked bored with the current one.

"Clint, you're not supposed to feed the animals chips!" Sam shouted at the archer who was throwing in pieces of tangy cheese Doritos into the cages of monkeys.

"Where's a goddamn sign to tell me not to?" He quirked his leg brow and smirked as he sassily threw the chip in the air.

"Right beside your fucking head!" Sam was about to tear Clint's head off.

"Watch your language, we are around children." Steve smacked both of their heads and snatched the bag and dumped the remaining chips in the nearest garbage can.

"Yeah, Peter's too innocent." Thor said nonchalantly. He pushed the alligator cap further down on his blonde hair. The souvenir shop had gladly sold it to the man and he proudly set it on his head the second he received the receipt.

"I was talking about Bruce." Steve smirked as Bruce rolled his eyes. He suddenly looked around him, wondering why he hadn't heard a groan about 'funny bears' for at least half an hour.

"Speaking of Peter, where is he?" Bruce asked. The team stilled and immediately became worried. Screaming his name, running like maniacs, having his name projected on the loudspeakers to come back to reception, the avengers did it all. Bruce was sent back to the car in case Peter stumbled back (it was also to calm down the rage monster during the stressful time.)

They eventually decided to split up and search all of the exhibits that they had already seen. Stark phones in hand, a group call was made to inform the others if they found him. Thinking quickly, Bucky was wondering if there was one place that the boy would go, where would it be?

He stilled, knowing the answer. He clutched the technology closer to his ear and took off in a sprint. He stopped himself as he came face to face with the enclosure. What he saw inside nearly made him pass out. Inside, Peter was sitting on the stomach of a sleeping grizzly bear, clapping his hands and grinning widely, how he got in there was still a mystery.

"I have good news and bad news," Bucky said to the other avengers on the phone. They demanded to hear the good news first. "The good news is that I found Peter-" muffled cheers came from everyone. "The bad news is that I can't actually get to him. He's sitting on top of a bear." The others instantly knew where he was and began speeding towards the grizzly bear exhibit where Peter was happily playing. Bucky pounded on the glass with his flesh arm to gain the attention of the five year old, who simply turned and stuck out his tongue before snuggling into the bear.

"What the fucking shit?!" Tony exclaimed, causing Bucky to flinch in surprise. The rest of the group (minus Bruce) had arrived to see Peter hugging the largest grizzly bear. Steve was too shocked to remind him not to swear.  "Peter Stark, if you don't get your butt out of that cage by the time I count to five, then I will take away your toy train!" The classic technique worked as always as the kid jumped up from his position.

"One." They watched the small child hurriedly crawl through a gap between the bushes. He expertly swatted the branches out of his face.

"Two." He disappeared from their field of vision however Steve could clearly hear his whines, indicating he wasn't far.

"Three." Peter suddenly emerged from a shrub in the far room, Tony noticed this and watched the five year old with a slightly amused expression.

"Four." Peter broke into a sprint, making a beeline towards his family. He loved his toy train set more than any of his other toys. Not to be dramatic, but Peter solemnly swore that he would rather die than live without that toy train.

"Five-" Peter crashed into his fathers' legs and hugged them hard while struggling to catch his breath. He breathed in hard and buried his face into Tony's legs.

    "Leave my trains alone!"
