The past few weeks have been some of the best weeks of my life. Shane let me stay at his house, his mom is really nice. He's decided he's bisexual, because he still likes girls too. ever since the hospital, my life has only gotten better. With Shane. Nobody knows that were dating yet, we both feel it would be best if we kept it a secret. for now. All of our friends would accept us, but if it were to accidentally slip out of someones mouth.... it would be bad. We both got into the same collage, University of Colorado. We're both ecstatic. 

We both want to go into collage like we already came out, so it won't be a big deal. New school, new sexuality. 

Shane texts me. I pick up my phone.

Shane- Babyyyyyyy

Ryland- Yes babe?

Shane- I'm taking you out tonight.

Ryland- Ooh, where are we going?

Shane- It's a surprise, you'll know when we get there.

Ryland- You know i hate surprises.

Shane- I also know you are adorable when you get mad. 

Ryland- I do not!

Shane- We could argue about this all day, I will still think you look adorable, not only when you're mad.

I rolled my eyes. I could never stay mad at Shane.

Shane- I'm coming home now, get ready to leave soon.

Ryland- K, see you soon.

And with that i turned my phone off, and went to get ready.

I'm gonna take Ryland somewhere very special tonight. I've wanted to take him here ever since i met him. i went there the first day i came to Colorado, found by driving around and clearing my head.

We have never really been on an official date, and this is the perfect place for a first date. 

I pulled into the driveway, and locked my car. I went up stairs to find Ryland getting his stuff together. 

"Ready to go?" I asked as he quickly turned around.

"Hi babty." he said as he kissed me on the cheek. "Yeah I'm ready to go, I just need to go to the bathroom."

As he was in the bathroom, I dug in his closet and found his swim trunks. He might need them. 

He came out of the bathroom and grabbed his backpack.

"Alright, let's head out." He said as he held my hand. 

We got in the car, and we jammed to Britney Spears for the whole ride. I loved these moments with him, when we're simply just having fun, enjoying each others presence. 

"Aright, now is the time that i blindfold you." I said with a smirk on my face.

"You are so annoying." He said with groan but a smile on his face.

I tied the shirt around his head, and then got out of the car. I opened his door, and lead him outside. We walked down the shady trail, with not another soul for miles. 

We finally came up on my favorite place in the world, my refuge, my happy place.

"Ok, you can take off your blindfold now!" I said excitedly.

He took off his blind fold to find a picnic blanket and basket, placed on a gigantic rock, not far from a waterfall. The sun reflected off of the water, making rainbows everywhere.

He took a moment to take it all in and then is eyes went back to me.

"Shane..." He said while looking into my eyes.

"This is so sweet." He kissed me, the kiss was long and passionate, not just any old kiss. This kiss was filled with love, compassion. 

When we finally pulled away from the kiss, I asked,

"Let's eat!"

We climbed onto the rock, and sat on the blanket. I opened the basket and took out two bags of Chipotle.

"You are the best cook." Ryland said jokingly as he took a bite out of his burrito. 

"Worlds finest." I said laughing.

After we finished lunch, i asked him,

"Wanna go for a swim?"

"Oh Shane, you should have told me, I didn't bring my bating suit."

"Yes you did." I said with a smile on my face. "Check your backpack."

He dug through his backpack and found his trunks that i packed. 

He looked at me and said, 

"You thought of everything didn't you?"I nodded and smiled proudly.

He put on his swim trunks and we decided to go to the waterfall first.

We stepped inside the waterfall and it was a whole different world. We sat down, and he rested his head on my shoulder.

 Now was the perfect time to finally say it. The three words that are said too much but not enough. 

I was about to say it, but someone beat me to it.

"I love you Shane."

"I love you too Ry Ry." I said as i pulled him in for another kiss.

YAY THEY LOVE EACH OTHER!
