Shane left and I stayed home. I was worried that I would get lonely, I'm always with Shane nowadays, and I get lots of anxiety. Everything just gets really dark. I'm worried that if I'm alone for all these days, that I'll start cutting again. I don't want to fall down that hole for the second time. My life turned around as soon as I met Shane. Having to be a perfect child, in a perfect family, in a perfect life, It wasn't as great as it seems. In fact, it wasn't perfect at all. My mom had cancer and I'm not sure if she still does, my dad was abusive, my brother was always making fun of me, and my sister was always in trouble. I left it all behind,  and I'm glad I did. Life is so much better with Shane in it, and I love him with all of my heart.

*Time skip*

It was the end of the day, and everything had gone smoothly. I heard Shane's car pull up in the driveway, and I ran outside. He saw me and a smile grew on his face.

He opened his arms and I crashed into them. I nuzzled my face into his brown leather jacket.

"Hi baby." He said as he held me in his arms.

"Hi babe." I said softly.

"How was your day?" He asked.

"Wasn't as bad as I anticipated." I responded.

"Good, I was worried about you all day." He said kissing my cheek as we walked back to the house.

"How was filming?"

"Great! There's a scene I'm really excited to film where we get to use a green screen."

"Wow, thats really cool." I said.

We lied down with our blankets on the couch, a cup of coffee in my hand and a cup of tea in his. We picked a scary movie, "The Shining" and I jumped about every two minutes. Of course Shane was always there, Holding me close and laughing.

I loved these nights with him, where we are with each other, with nothing to do, nowhere to be, and when the only thing on the agenda is being with Shane. My favorite thing to do.

*the next morning*

I woke up next to my favorite person in the world, who had also fallen asleep during one of the best scary movies of all time. But ya know, forgive and forget.

I got up, careful not to wake him up. I went downstairs and made coffee for him and I.

He came down and kissed me softly.

"Good morning sunshine." I said.

"Good morning babe." He said back, in his sexy morning voice.

"Is too early in the morning to talk about things that require thinking?" I asked with a smile on my face.

"Nope." He said, already woken up by coffee.

"So, what if we had our wedding the day of the movie premiere? We could show it with a projector, and everyone could watch it!" I pitched my idea to him.

"That would be perfect! And even our friends from work could come!"

"Great. So I guess we have a date for the wedding then!" I said laughing.

"I guess we do." He said kissing me.
