It's been two weeks since I last saw Shane. He's been in a coma in the hospital, and I'm not sure he knows I'm there. I miss him so much.

It's been two weeks since the fire and I still can't believe that Ryland is dead. We were just starting what I had hoped to be a long life together. The authorities keep saying that they think it may have been arson. Who the fuck would do that? Who would take the one person on this planet that I love the most and not ever let me hold them again?
I start to hear beeping.
What the fuck is that?
I look around my hospital room, and nothing seems to be making any sound.
It feels like its coming from inside my head.
And suddenly, my eyes snap open.
