"HIT ME BABY ONE MORE TIME" I sang at the top of my lungs as we drove to the house we were going to see.

"I'm so excited to see this house Shane." Ryland said as he took my hand in his.

"I know, this could be it... It's so cool to think about."

"This is the one!" Ryland pointed at a amazing white and brown house.

"Wow, this is so pretty Ry."

We went inside and greeted the realtor. 

"Hi, how are you all today?" She said politely.

"We're great how are you?"

"I'm good. My name is Kathy and I'll just be standing here greeting guests, but if you need anything please ask."

"Thank you, I think we're all set." I said.

We started walking around, pointing out everything we saw. 

"Shane this has everything we've been looking for!" 

"I know! It's not too big or small, it has a big backyard, and it's two floors!"

"I love it Shane."

I looked down at him and he had tears in his eyes. I did too, because I was happy, and I could really see a future here. With him.

"Baby don't cry." I said wiping the tears from his eyes with my thumbs.

"Only if you stop." He giggled and sniffed.

"Ok." I said as I pulled him in for a hug.

"Let's get our home."

Me and Shane sat down at our computer and started working on our application for the house.

"Shane do you smell that?" He said as he stopped typing.

I sniffed the air and crinkled my nose.

"Yeah, It smells like..."

"Smoke." He said as he finished my sentence for me.

"Get Uno, I'll get everything else we need." I said as the fire alarm started going off.

"Ok, I got Uno, did you get everything?" 

"Yeah let's go!"

We opened our door and we were greeted by flames that were taller than both of us.

"Shit."
