Part 21

Today was the day. We were finally graduating. Me and Ryland aced every class and we were almost top of our class. I could finally propose to him. I've been waiting to ask that question to the love of my life ever since I was little. Of course back then I never would have guessed that it would be a guy. But I wouldn't have it any other way. Ryland is the one. I know it in my heart. He's always been the one, I just didn't know it.

Today was the day. We were finally graduating. It was everything I ever dreamed of. Graduating with the person I hope to spend the rest of my life with. He is my everything, I can't imagine a life without him. 

My name got called up first. I graduated with a bachelors degree in film. It wasn't long before Shane's name got called up, and he graduated with the same degree. We looked out into the crowd where his mom was cheering both of us on. I'm not sure my mom even knows I went to collage. I could be dead on the street for all she knows. She's probably with someone else by now, she cheated on my dad multiple times. He was too high to care.

The ceremony was over and we went and to a party with all of our friends. Thankfully, Shane wasn't kissed by any drunk girls. We finally went to our apartment. We had started moving in about a month before we graduated. It was a small studio apartment with a loft, just like one we had once seen in one of Jeffree Star's videos. It had a small kitchen nook with a small family room. We had set up our bedroom and decorated it the night before. We settled in and climbed in bed.

"Hi baby" I said smiling softly.

"Hi Ry Ry." He said staring back into my eyes.

He leaned in to kiss me and i kissed back. 

"You ready for our trip?" He asked.

"As ready as I'll ever be." I replied.

We had planed that as soon as we got out of collage, we would take a trip together, to somewhere beautiful. We had decided to go to Costa Rica, because we had both wanted to go there ever since we kids. 

We were getting on our flight tomorrow. It was a direct flight, but it was gonna be long. I'm planning to propose to him on our third day, because we have dinner reservations on the beach. 

It will be perfect, as long as he says yes.
