I started to lean in and so did he, I was staring into his eyes and he was staring into mine. We both leaned in more and more then Carlos came running into my room screaming my name. Christopher and I both pulled our head away from each other as fast as we could, we both looked at Carlos. He ran up to me and hugged me I was kinda confused at first then realized why he was hugging me so I hugged back. We separated from the hug he put his hand on my shoulder and looked at me sadly. Is there anything that you want to talk about or anything you need he asked me. I just smiled at him I told him I was fine and if I need anything or if I wanted to talk to him I would let him know. He nodded his head then walked out of my room. As soon as he did I looked at Christopher I started to blush, I sat back down on my bed then my mom called us down for for dinner.

I walked down to the kitchen and Christopher followed me, when we got into the kitchen we sat down at the table. My mom brought what she made over to the table, it was lasagna. We couldn't eat yet because Carlos wasn't at the table. What is taking him so long I thought to myself, what could he be doing? I was taken out of my thoughts when my mom asked me to go get him. I walked up the steps and down the hall to get to his room. His door was open a little bit I looked through the opening and saw he was on the phone with someone but I don't know the person on the other end. After looking at his phone trying to figure out who's on the other side of that phone call I just walked into Carlos's room. As I walked close to him I saw the person on the other end it was Alex. You know Alex the boy that just broke up with me today over text message Alex. I held myself together and walked  up to Carlos and told him that dinner is ready then walked out as fast as I could.

I ran down the steps and almost into the kitchen but I heard my mom and Christopher talking about me.
Conversation: mom=mom Chris= Christopher

Mom: I've seen her get hurt so many times that it hurts me I just hope that one day she finds a good guy like you
Chris: thank you so much and Evvie will find the right man one day
Mom: your right and she only is 16 so she still has a lot of time left
Chris: yeah but she will find that person it could be tomorrow or in 20 years
Mom: hey I have an idea and it's a good one
Chris: ok what is it
Mom: you should date Evvie
Chris: Me date Evvie I could never
Mom: why not
Chris: because we are friends and I don't think that she would want to be anything more then just friends
Mom: but you would want to be more then just friends?
Chris: hey I didn't say that
Mom: but I didn't not say that
End of conversation

At that point I walked into the kitchen as if I didn't hear anything they just talked about. After I sat down Carlos walked into the kitchen and sat down. Finally we can eat I said and I took a piece of lasagna and put it on my plate.
