Not even 2 minuets after I wake up there is a knock on my door and it is cute boy #1. " Hey Evvie can I come in?" He asked. I looked at him with big eyes not knowing what to say or do. " No" I said and it sounded like a question. "Oh well then this is weird" he said. "How is it weird if I don't know you?" I asked cute boy #1. "Wait what do you mean you don't know me?" " I don't know you that's that." He looked shocked and a tear rolled down his face and he looked away. When he looked at me again he walked away.

Alex's POV
I couldn't keep talking and looking at her. The girl that I am I love with has no idea Who I am. I didn't want to leave but I knew I had to. I took the elevator down to the first floor and walk through the living room. I saw Carlos and Evvie's mom And give them a sad Look I told them I was going to go home and that it is just to hard to see her like this and have her not remember me. Carlos looked sad but there mom looked kinda happy and that hurt me so much. There mom honestly has never liked me she always acted like I wasn't good enough for her daughter. Any time she could tell Evvie that I am not good enough she would. I actually remember the first time She told Evvie I wasn't good enough for her.

{ Flash back to 3 mouths into Alex and & Evvie's Relationship }

I was sitting on the couch Evvie was laying down. Her head was on my lap and I was playing with her beautiful long brown hair. It was just me and her, Carlos was in his room and her mom was at work. I slowly start to fall asleep, my eye lids  were slowly getting heavier and heavier. I was almost full a sleep when the front door opened and I heard her mom let out the loudest grown. I could hear her walk over to the two of us. I could feel her look right at me even though my eyes were closed. She said Evvie's name and tiled her to go into the kitchen. At this time I I had opened my eyes and watched them walk into the next room. "Evvie why is THAT boy here" " Mom his name is Alex" "I don't care what his name is, the only time I will care about a boys name is when you find one THAT IS GOOD ENOUGH FOR YOU" "So your saying Alex is not good enough for me" Evvie asked her mom in a sad tone. "That EXACTLY what I'm saying" "well mom sorry but your wrong" "OH IM WRONG? So your saying that me your mother that knows you better then anyone is wrong."  "Yes! That is what I'm saying" Evvie said standing up for me with her mom. "Ok well when you and HIM don't last just remember you told me I was wrong."  I could hear her stomp her way over to me. I quickly closed my eyes like I was sleeping the hole time. She put her hand on my face I pertend to wake up from sleeping. As soon as I open my eyes she smiled and kiss me. I kiss back standing up and taking control. As we pull away I open my eyes and see that she is giving dirty looked to her mom. I turn to look at her and she gives me a dirty look. She scoffs and walked away. "What was that for I" "what I can't kiss my boyfriend for no reason to show him I care about him" "I mean you can but you usually have a reason when you kiss me" " ok so do you want a reason?" She asked me in kind of a rude tone "If you want to give me a reason then sure" I said to her " My reason is that I LOVE YOU ALEX" she said the hole for part of her sentence in a sweet voice then the I love you part loud.

That was the first time she said I LOVE YOU. I didn't think she meant it so I didn't say it back. I never said it back because of that day. Every time she would say I love you would me me think she is just saying it to make her mom made. It's not like I didn't love her because I did as soon as I laid eyes on her I know I loved her. I just couldn't bring myself to say it because I felt as if I would say that then that means she won the fight between her and her mom.I didn't want me loving her to rip her family apart.
