It's been a few hours and I haven't talked to my mom. She just wants to yell at me and I don't want to yell back. I ended up closing the currents that separated the two parts of the room. I was laying in my bed and the doctor came in, he had my moms results.

"So Mrs.Mena congratulations it looks like your daughters not the only one with a baby on the way. Your pregnant." The doctor told her.

She was almost in tears and not the good kind.

"I'm going to throw up." My mom said.

She looked at me then back at the doctor.

"Hey it looks like my son or daughter is going to be the same age as my new brother or sister." I said trying to make a joke in such a tense situation.

"That's not funny" she said as the doctor left the room.

"Hey well I guess this means that we face to meet the guy now." I said snapping my fingers and Pointing at her.

"Yeah I guess it does. We need to talk about you being pregnant at 17. When did you have sex? Who was it with? Who is the father of your baby?" My mom said very seriously.

"It was a few months ago. It was with Alex. So if it was with him that means he is the father." I told her.

"Alex as in Alex Guzman. The guy that you were engaged to. The guy that you ran away with. The guy that cheated on you so many time. That Alex?" She said angrily.

"Yeah that Alex he is the only person I had sex with" I told her.

"I honestly can't believe that you would let this happen." She yelled at me

"I already told you it wasn't on purpose. But I am going to take full responsibility for what I did. I'm also going to take care of my baby. This happened because of me and Alex and I'm going to make me having a baby and being pregnant at 17 work ok." I yelled back at her.

She looked shocked but then she smiled.

"If you can't make it work the family will be there to help you ok." She said.

I nodded my head and smiled. I turned may body one way and my mom turn hers another.after a few hours of just silence the doctor came back in.

"So I wanted to let the baby new sink in for the both of you and I just wanted to let you both know that we can perform an ultrasound If you would like." He said to the both of us.

"I don't know if that would be a good thing" my mom tried telling him.

I jumped into the conversation as soon as possible.

"I would like an ultrasound." I said to the doctor before my mom jumped in.

"I don't think that would be the best thing." She said

"This is my baby and I want to see him or her. You were just supporter of like a few hours ago. Let me do this." I said.

I wanted to see my baby and she wasn't letting me. I was mad and she knew I was.

"Ok so are you two going to get the ultrasounds or no? If so I'm going to need about 20 minutes to prepare the room." The doctor said wanting an answer.

"Yeah I'm going to get one and so is my daughter." She said looking at me and at the doctor.

The doctor left them after about 20 minutes the doctor came back and took us both down to the ultrasound room.
