"Hey umm dad what you you think about getting married young" I asked him hoping to get a good response back. "I think if you are in love and you know that your partner is the one then I'm all for it. But I also think that if you are under a certain age you should not be getting married." "Well what do you think about teen marriages?" Alex's Spock out for the first time all dinner. " well 60 percent of marriages for couples between the ages of 20 and 25 end in divorce, and the rate for people that are younger keeps going down. I honestly don't think it is a good idea but if that's what people what then go for it. I'm just saying if it were me I would wait longer." After he said that my mood kinda changed and I started to worry. I don't know what he would say if I asked him to sign off on some papas or something. "Why is this hole dinner conversation about marriage and getting married." My dad said.
Alex's POV I looked at Evvie and then at her father. " Mr. Mena I am in love with your daughter and I would never do anything to hurt her. I know that I have messed up in the past but Evvie is the love of my life." At this time I was fully facing Evvie. "Evvie I have loved you since the day I met you and I always knew that I wanted to get married. I never knew the person I wanted or was going to marry until I met you." I got up from the table and got down on one knee. I reached into my back pocket and pulled out a box and said. "Evvie Marie Gloriana Mean will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?"
She put her ands over her mouth and started crying. She took both of her hand and put them on my cheeks and kissed me. "Yes, a thousand times yes" she said to me. We stood up and kissed a passionate kiss. I put the ring on her finger and she smiled the biggest smile I have ever seen.

Evvie's POV I was absolutely shocked, I did not think that he was going to propose to me ever. He didn't need to but the fact that he did was amazing. I was in such a moment of bliss when I heard. "Eww" I knew it was P. I laughed at her then smiled. I was looking at Alex it was like we were the only two people in the world. "So this whole dinner was so you could propose to my daughter" my dad said kinda mad and yelling at Alex. "Dad" I said with a wtf look on my face. He had such a disappointed look on his face it made a feel so bad. I honestly just want everyone to be happy and if that means that me not being happy, then I won't be happy. He huffed and got up from the table, he grabbed his keys and left the house. I took a deep breath and ran upstairs, into my bedroom and looked the door.

Alex's POV
I have been trying to get her to open the door of about 2 hours now but she won't. She's just sitting in there crying her eyes out. I know how she is she wants everyone to be happy even if that means she's not. The only times she doesn't care is when she is sticking up for herself, someone else or something she believes in. Tears started falling down my face as I sat on the out side of the door.
Emily's POV
Lee (Evvie's day) still isn't home it's almost 11pm he is always home before 9:30pm. I can tell he doesn't like the thought of this engagement, but he is hurting his daughter again. It's her life most his and if he doesn't come back and say that he is ok with the engagement he will once again be ruining something in his daughters life.
