I swung my leg backwards and then pushed it into the pile of leaves in front of me, letting them scatter around me. A deep sigh huffed out of my chest and I moved back to sit against a tree.

"Where the hell is he?" I groaned, stamping my foot in aggravation and folding my arms across my chest.

"He will be here soon," Caroline replied, standing opposite me, leaning her weight against a tree. She was also kicking the debris on the floor, scuffing the ground with her trainer as she did.

"I hate waiting," I grumbled irritably. Suddenly, I felt two arms snake around my waist and swivelled to see Zach smiling sincerely at me. He placed a light kiss on my head and ran his fingers through my hair.

I whipped my head around to the left at the sound of branches rustling. Zach and I shared a glance and he tensed as a twig snapped behind me. The crunch of footstep became louder as they approached us and I stared in the direction of the noises until eventually I saw Masons muscular silhouette striding towards us.

Zach immediately relaxed as he approached us. "Sorry I'm a bit late guys," he said with a shrug.

"A bit late? We have been sat here for 20 minutes waiting for you, what took you so long?" I growled.

He shrugged again. "Trying to explain to my mom why I am disappearing off into the woods so much," he said.

I rolled my eyes and opened my mouth to answer but before I could, Zach leaned towards me so our foreheads were pressed together and our lips were a hairs width apart. "Calm down," he whispered. His warm breath fanned across my lips and I shuddered.

I leaned in slightly and closed the gap, sealing my lips over his. He instantly kissed me back and I felt his tongue glide across the crevice of my mouth, coaxing my lips to part. Our lips moved at the same pace and I struggled to stay quiet as his hands left my waist and began traveling around my body. I snaked my arms around his neck, gripping clumps of his hair to anchor me to reality as his sweet taste consumed my mouth.

We slowly pulled away and I gazed into his beautiful blue eyes, they were crystal clear and I could see his happiness in them. I couldn't stop the smile that forced its way onto my face. He raised his eyebrows in another daring look and pecked my lips. I rolled my eyes as we pulled away and turned back to my friends.

Mason had his arm snaked around Carolines waist while she leant against him, whispering quietly to each other while the others all huffed at us.

"Can we go now?" Ryder asked, rolling his eyes in our direction. I shot him a look while everyone nodded in reply and we all started to make our way through the woods.

Zach's hand slipped into mine as we all made our way through the woods, laughing and joking about whatever came to mind. Jordan carried a large bag on her back which we had filled to the brim with food and she seemed to be slowing slightly after walking for a while.

"I'll take the bag, Jord." Zach offered, dropping my hand and reaching to take the bag - much to my disappointment.

"Thanks." She smiled as he peeled the bag off her back and slung it over his shoulder effortlessly. I couldn't help but drool over his obvious strength and flexed muscles.

We eventually arrived at the lake that Zach and I spent our first date and the sun was now high in the sky and the cool crisp morning air had subsided. The clear blue water was still after the wind had dropped and the green trees blossomed around us.

I stripped my pale red t-shirt off and peeled my leggings off so I was left in my red bikini. The top was a v-cut bikini top that tied around my neck and clipped at the back and the bottoms were simple.

Beside me, Zach removed his shirt to reveal his perfectly chiselled chest. His olive skin was smooth and flawless and his large muscular arms flexed as he peeled the material over his head.

We all jumped into the lake and to our surprise, the water wasn't too cold. The water flooded over me as I sunk to the bottom. I peeled my eyes open under the water and pulled myself back up for a breath before diving right back under.

Once I emerged, I lay on my back, floating until Zach arms wrapped around me and he pulled me onto his knee. His lips crashed onto mine immediately and I pressed my body against his while I ran my hands over his wet, smooth skin and up to his hair which was disheveled and dripping wet. Water droplets trickled down his chest while I lowered my hands and ran my fingers through the crevices, outlining each muscle on his perfectly toned stomach before running my hands up and down his arms.

He began planting feathery kisses along my jaw, pulling gently on my tender skin. Slowly, he moved down to my neck where he playfully bit and sucked on the skin. I found myself tilting my head back to give him better access and he trailed his kisses down to my collar bone and my chest before peeling my bikini top back slightly. He planted light kisses along my cleavage while my fingers raked through his hair.

He gently pulled away and stared into my eyes before attacking my swollen lips once again. I couldn't get enough of him, his lips were so soft and his kisses were tender and gentle. I couldn't hold in the small breathy sounds as his tongue brushed against my lips, asking for entrance.

After we were once again made aware of the fact we weren't alone, we continued to swim around before climbing out the lake to warm up on the grassy bank.

"You are so beautiful," he whispered as we lay, drying off. I sat in between his legs with my head resting on his warm chest, his arms holding me against him.

I smiled at his words, opening my mouth to respond and releasing a croaking sound instead. I cleared my throat, feeling how dry it was, and tried again. "Thanks," I muttered, my voice coarse.

"What's wrong?" He rested his head on my shoulder and squeezed my hand, his voice laced with worry and concern. "Ella?"

"Nothing," I managed to croak out. "It's just..," again, I cleared my throat and he clasped my waist and spun me around to face him. His beautiful blue eyes were clouded over with worry as they searched mine for an answer. "Its just been a long time since anyone said that to me," I admitted.

Zach stared at me for a second before taking my lips in his and kissing me once again. This time it was different, it was gentle and soft. It made me feel completely safe and loved and all I could think about was him and how desperate I was for this kiss to last forever.

He pulled away and cupped my face with his warm hands, his simple touch sending goosebumps across my body. His eyes bore into mine so deeply, clouded over with love and admiration with a bit of sadness. "I am going to tell you how completely, perfectly gorgeous you are every day for the rest of our lives." He smiled the most genuine smile he ever had and I couldn't stop the one that contorted my face.

"I love you," I whispered, my heart racing in my chest at the mere thought of having him with me every day for the rest of my life.

"I love you too." He grinned and once again his lips were pressed against mine.
