Lucy's POV
Parang hindi na humihinga si JD. He is just lying on the floor bleeding to death. I can't even hear my own voice sa ingay ng mga putok ng baril.
"James, please. Don't die," iyak ako ng iyak. Ang dami - daming dugo.
JD smiled faintly af me.
"Bad people don't die easily." He coughed and I know he is really in a bad shape. Hindi ko yata makakaya kung mamatay si JD. Kahit nagsinungaling siya sa akin kaya kong tanggapin ang lahat ng mga paliwanag niya.
"I am sorry if I lied, Lu. I am not you think I am. Mac was right. Everything he said about me, about what I did was right." He said that in between breaths.
"Tell it all to me later, James." Umiiyak na sabi ko. "You need to get to a hospital."
He blew a breath and I know he is really in pain.
"You bitch! You ruined everything!"
It is Janet. She is crying and she is pointing the gun at me.
"Its all your fault! Kung pinirmahan mo na sa opisina ang mga documents na iyon hindi mangyayari ito!" Galit na sigaw niya sa akin.
"You got all you want. What else do you want now? He needs to get to a hospital," ano pa ba ang gusto niya? They have the documents. They got the money. All I need right now is to bring JD to a hospital.
"I don't care if he is going to die. Mas mabuti nga iyon. Mamatay na siya ng mawala na ang laging humahabol kay Mac," sabi niya at itinutok naman niya ang baril kay JD.
I don't know what to do. Janet is like a crazy woman crying and she just keeps on saying, "Everything is ruined." Then I saw her face hardened and wiped her tears and she pointed the gun at me. "Uunahin na kita."
But before Janet use the gun, JD got the gun near him and shot Janet's hand.
Many men stormed inside the room. I don't know who are they but I think they are JD's team. I saw Ferdie's worried face while looking at me and I saw relief when he saw me alive.
"James, please." Umiiyak na sabi ko kasi he is just staring blankly at me. Ferdie run towards me.
"Thank god you're safe," sabi niya at niyakap ako. "You need to get out of here." Sabi niya at pilit akong itinatayo.
"Help him," umiiyak na sabi ko.
Pero parang hindi ako naririnig ni Ferdie. Sapilitan niya akong itinayo doon at pilit na inalalayan makalabas sa kuwarto kahit na nga nagwawala ako.
"We need to help James! Let me go! I need to help James!" Naghihisterikal na ako.
"You can't do anything! Leave him there. Bahala na ang mga kasama niya sa kanya." Sagot ni Ferdie sa akin.
"He is going to die," umiiyak na sabi ko.
"I am sorry, ate. But whatever happens to JD, that is part of his job. We can't do anything about it."
Lalo akong napaiyak and I saw men holding guns getting inside. Sapilitan akong isinakay sa kotse ni Ferdie at mabilis siyang nag - drive paalis doon.
"You need a doctor. May mga sugat ka," sabi niya.
Umiling lang ako sa pagitan ng mga hikbi.
"I just want to go home," mahinang sabi ko. Right now, all I want is to be with JD and to know that he is safe.
"But kailangan kang matingnan ng mga doctor."
"Bring me home. I don't need any doctors." Sagot ko.
