I stretched my arms up high and send the files to Khian, I was done on my task and I am free. We don't have any classes today though we don't know what reason but I guess it's a perfect timing. Khian didn't came to the office since he was talking to some of the guests of the school along with his father.
I've received a message from my mom that she is waiting for me at the hotel room that she rented, she also texted me the address so I immediately went their. I made sure that the gadgets, lights were switched and plugged out before I left. I also locked the student council office amd immediately went to outside the building.
I was walking towards the main gate untill someone beeped behind me, I stopped and glanced at my back. A head popped out from the car window it was Neil waving his hand.
“Saan ka pupunta?” tanong niya sakin.
“Aalis” sagot ko.
“Sakay kana” sabi niya sakin. I was smiling running towards the back seat, I immediately saw Clint on the passenger seat since his car isn't that heabily tinted.
“You're alone today” Clint commented.
“I'll be meeting my mom” I said. Agad mo namang sinabihan si Neil kung saan ako hihinto, luckily they'll be getting their suites. They're family was also invited from the Elite Gala.
“What happen to you guys, I don't think that we've seen each other much” I said to them.
“We've been busy as well, these week we're loaded and it's really annoying” Clint commented as he sighed.
“I heard that you're one of the student council, congratulations by the way” Clint looked at me at the mirror, I just smiled at him.
“Yo, Maine” Neil called.
“I advice you to keep close from us, Josh will be there and you know what happened”
I nodded at him and later on we stopped at a hotel, nag paalam na ako sa kanila and when I've went out fron Neil's car I waved goodbye as I saw their car ran further. I immediately went to an elevator and looked for the room that my mom told me.
Finally, I found the room and I knocked. Someone immediately opened it and it was mother, his hair was half done she immediately hugged me tight.
“You're finally here!” she exclaimed.
“Sorry I'm late I finished my task forst before coming here” I said to her.
“Oh please, you're just right on time” she said, agad naman akong pumasok and the room was kind of neat and it was huge.
As I glanced near our bed, I noticed two dresses elegantly displayed on a black body mannequin. Among them was my own dress, its sparkling details catching me by surprise. The fitted silhouette boasted a striking V-neckline and a single strap, accentuated by a daringly high backless design. It exuded a sense of allure and sophistication.
“I didn't know that my dress has sparkles in it” I said.
“I was surprised either, but it looked beautiful” she commented.
“I guess so” I glanced beside my dress looking at it with surprise.
Next to my dress was a deep blue off-shoulder gown. It hugged the body snugly but had a flowing, trailing skirt on the side. Made of silk, it seemed tailor-made for my mother. The gown exuded elegance yet with simplicity.
“Is that your dress?”
“Aha, what do you think?” she asked me.
"Perfect!" I exclaimed, sharing a chuckle with her. We made our way to our seats as the makeup artist and hairstylist began their work.
