Chapter Twenty-One: "Baby Girl, are you Pregnant?"

Baby Girl's POV

"BABY GIRL, ARE YOU pregnant?" Grayson asks me before throwing out the cigarette and walking closer.

He hovers over me and blows smoke from his mouth. I knew the second hand smoke would get to me, but all that I could think about right now was how bad I wanted him. I could feel his body heat slowly warming me. My hands found themselves pressed against his chest.

"M...maybe," I manage to mutter quietly.

His hand slides across my face, pulling bundles of my hair along with it. I could feel a tug downwards, and in an instant my head was pointing up to the ceiling. I gasp as Gray plants tiny kisses down my throat; my hair still tightly wrapped around his fingers. My body couldn't resist him. I didn't want to fall for him knowing how much I loved his brother, but I just couldn't help but take one more kiss. Maybe I loved him more.

"Jade," Someone calls.

"Shh," I whisper.

"Jade," they call again. "Wake up!"

I open my eyes and blink multiple times due to the straining caused by the beaming sunlight.

"What?" I groan, still blinking.

As my vision came back, I was able to see the appearance of my mother at my bed side.

"Someone's downstairs for you," she said pulling the covers off me and feeling my head.

"Who?" I ask, moving her hand. She checked my head every morning since she found out that I was pregnant, and it was getting annoying.

"Baby daddy number one."

I faked a laugh. She gave the twins nicknames in the order that I had slept with them. Grayson being baby daddy number one, and Ethan was baby daddy number two. It was more of a reference to my mother's previous nickname that she gave them. She's called them thing one and two since eighth grade, and now that's changed.

"I'm gonna go slide on some clothes," I announce before getting up. I was happy that I didn't have morning sickness today because the previous mornings had been hell. I didn't mention that to Ethan though. He would've over reacted. I could cough and to him it would automatically mean miscarriage. It was nice that he cared though, even if there was a possibility that the baby wasn't his.

I didn't want to think about that too much at the moment. My mind was focused on our call the night before. I could tell that he was crying, and that had to mean that something was wrong. I had never seen him cry much, so I was pretty worried.

"Jade!" Mom calls from downstairs.

"Coming," I scream back. I was excited to see Grayson. I had been dreaming about his nonstop, so it was satisfying to actually be able to be with him in person.

I throw on something decent enough and head downstairs. To my suprise, Mel was sitting on the couch calmly watching TV. I don't think the idea of me and Grayson together bothers her too much anymore. We weren't together together at the moment, but who knew what the future held?

"Hey," I greet softly.

"Hey beautiful," he responds.

I look around. Mom was sipping some coffee, pretending that she wasn't listening, but she obviously was. I shoot her a look, and she smiles before leaving the room.

"Let's go for a walk," I suggest.
I knew that everyone was going to try to eavesdrop at some point. I hadn't told Grayson about the pregnancy yet, and I knew that they would want to know if I would or not. I wasn't too sure yet. I didn't want to continue to hide this from him, but at the same time I was too nervous. I never meant to tell Ethan either, but somehow it had just slipped. I had asked him not to tell Gray. I wanted to see his genuine reaction myself.
