Chapter Ten: "Aftermath Of Revenge"

THAT DAY AT SCHOOL, I was on top of the world. Revenge felt so good. Of course, it didn't feel that good because Grayson had no idea of what I had done, but at least I knew.  I kind of felt bad too. Grayson probably just went back to Mel so that she could stop moping. That still didn't explain why he didn't tell me first.

I didn't forget about my list either. Ethan was the twin to go for, but my heart still chased Grayson. Even after yeaterday. There was something about Grayson that I craved. I needed him.

"Why are you smiling so much?" Perri asks as we walk down the hallway together.

I usually let her in on everything, but I hadn't told her about sleeping with Ethan yet. After all, it had only been one day.

"No reason," I say continuing to smile.

She deadpans. "I spy with my little eye a lie," she sings.

I stop walking and turn to her. I had to tell her, or she was going to bug me about it all day.

"Okay, I'll give you some hints. Me, Ethan, Bed. That's all the clues I'm giving," I then continue to walk.

Perri gasps," You didn't!"

"We did," I assure her.

She seemed mind blown. She always did.

"I can't believe you scored both twins. Damn! I mean they're not my type, but they are hot."

"Yeah, they are-"

"Baby girl, " Grayson calls. I could see him walking towards me. I wanted to turn and walk away, but my body felt paralyzed. I was stuck standing there, Perri at my side. I was going to curse him out.

"Baby girl," He says again, now standing in front of me.

I look over at Perri, who had a big grin on her face. She didn't say anything, but she walked away. That was typical of her. She always left me in weird situations and expected me to fill her in on them later.

"Why?" I ask Grayson before he can say another word. "Hmm? Why? Give me a damn good explanation why you would do something like this to me?"

He looks at me with a soft expression. I could tell that he was at a loss for words.

"Do you want to know how humiliated I feel!?" I refrained from yelling. I didn't want everyone in my business, but I was still mad.

"Listen," Grayson says licking his lips, which I had to admit was sexy.

"Mel is blackmailing me."

I raised an eyebrow.

"You really expect me to believe that?" I ask. Mel was a bitch, but she wasn't crazy. Well, she kind of was.

"This is your sister we're talking about Baby girl. I think that's not that hard to believe."

He made a point. Mel could be very manipulative. She's done bad things before,  but I knew in my heart that she loved Gray. Why blackmail him though?

"What's she blackmailing you over,  Grayson?" I wonder. "Well, what is she blackmailing you with?"

 He looks around to make sure no one's listening.

"She's trying to say I raped her."

I look at him as if he was on crack, and I end up laughing. This wasn't something that you hear every day. It wasn't funny, but I wonder if he thinks I'm that dumb.
