Epilogue

"Get it out of me!" my wife screamed, sinking her nails into my hand.

I winced as she screamed again.

Her screaming actually hurts more than her nails in my skin.

"Oh my god, Leo! It hurts so much," Chelsea groaned.

"Push, Mrs. Casher. Take a deep breath and push," the doctor instructed.

"Come on, Baby. Push for our little girl, okay?" I whispered into her ear, trying to calm her down.

"I'm trying to! Can't you see?"

I looked a her with an amused smile.

She's so hot when she's mad. Like, damn.

"What's funny? You think that I'm funny?" she said angrily.

My smile disappeared and I looked at her with a straight face and replied, "What? No, no. Love, take a deep breath."

"Push, Mrs. Casher," the doctor instructed again.

After a few minutes of pushing, a loud cry erupted in the room. It was so angelic and sweet.

"Congratulations! It's a girl," the doctor smiled, putting the baby onto Chelsea's chest.

Chelsea let go of my hand and gently brushed our baby girl's cheek with her fingers.

"She's so cute," she whispered tiredly, looking up at me.

I started at the little angel and smiled before I gently touched her cheek too.

This is what you call love at first sight.

"She is," I smiled, kissing Chelsea's forehead.

"Ariel Coral Casher," Chelsea smiled.

I smiled at that name and looked at my wife and angel in awe before whispering, "I love you guys."

After a couple of days, Chelsea and Ariel were ready to come home. My mom went overboard and decided to do a huge Welcome Home party. She invited everybody she knew and I was afraid that Ariel and Chelsea might want to rest instead.

"Why are there so many cars parked outside our house?" Chelsea asked.

I laughed awkwardly and parked our car. Then I went around and helped Chelsea get out. After that, I grabbed Ariel's car seat and carefully carried it to the door.

Just as the door opened, people quietly yelled, "Welcome home!"

Chelsea stood there in shock and her parents and mine came around us, giving is hugs.

Then they excitedly asked, "Where is she?"

I lifted the little cloth covering her and my mom started crying.

"She's so adorable. Kali, I still remember when we brought you home from the hospital," my mom sniffed.

Kali laughed and pulled my mom for a hug and said, "Don't cry, Mom. Baby Ariel might think that you're crazy."

I chuckled and gently carried the car seat to the living room. People were around and snacking on things at the snack bar that Kali and my mom fixed.

Chelsea sat down next to me and put her head on my shoulder. We both looked at Ariel lovingly.

"She's beautiful. Just like her mom," I smiled.

"She looks like both of us," Chelsea laughed.

"Say cheese!"

We looked up and saw Kali holding a camera. We smiled and she clicked the camera before walking passed us to another group of people.

About an hour later, everyone were in our living room and were taking turns holding my baby. I smiled at how much they already adored her.

When Ariel was back into our arms, Rick got everyone's attention. Chelsea winked at Kali and Kali blushed.

"Kali Casher. You're the woman of my dreams. I love you so much and I never thought that my womanizing ways will ever stop due to you. You're everything to me. Even Leo said he will pay for our honeymoon," Rick chuckled.

Everyone in the room laughed and I looked at him, confused.

"To make this short, I want to love you until my last breath. Will you marry me?" he asked, kneeling down on one knee and pulling out a ring.

Kali nodded with tears streaming down her face.

Everyone cheered loudly and suddenly, Ariel started crying. I glared at them before I gently patted my little girl's back to make her stop.

She stopped crying and I looked at Chelsea lovingly.

"She's totally a daddy's girl," Chelsea grinned.

"She's our little girl," I smiled, kissing Chelsea.

I heard a camera click and pulled back from the kiss.

"Keep it PG," Rick laughed, giving the camera to Kali.

"How am I paying for your honeymoon?" I asked.

"Man, I got proof. Want to see it?"

"Lay it on me," I challenged.

Rick took out a piece of paper and smirked, "It was that one day where your mom came looking for you and you told me to distract her to save you the lecture about you not telling her about your engagement."

I looked at the piece of paper and groaned, "Damn it."

"You did what, Leo?" my mom yelled.

"Shit," I said below my breath, looking at my lovely wife for help.

"Mom, please keep it down. I have a little headache and I don't want baby Ariel to cry," Chelsea smiled sweetly at her.

"Fine, but Leo, you're dead when Chelsea and Ariel isn't next to you," she glared.

"Dad?" I called.

"She's right, Son. Your fault," he smirked.

I groaned and glared at Rick.

He lifted his hands up innocently and said, "You told me to prove it, man."

I groaned and looked at Chelsea. She had an amused smile on her lips and I raised an eyebrow.

"What's so funny?" I asked.

"You're perfect," Chelsea whispered.

I smiled and kissed her forehead before whispering back, "You're perfect too. I'm glad I fell for you unexpectedly. One of the best things in my life."

She smiled back at me and I know that if Chelsea was by my side, I could get through anything in life. Even my mom when she's about to kill me.

So, when someone breaks your heart and it feels like you can't start over or you can't find your broken pieces, don't give up hopes in falling in love. Love can happen unexpectedly.
