My sixth morning at the facility was an early one, and I even found my way outside to Loki's garden. It had grown quite a bit in six years. What used to be small bushels were now full bushes and even half grown trees stood, making somewhat of a pathway. Walls of roses grew on each side of the path and the grass was greener than anything I've ever seen. The site almost brought me to tears, knowing that the last time I saw this was when Loki proposed, and I made everyone lose their memory of me. But said tears were held back when I caught Loki's gaze from the other side of the yard. He smiled and waved me over as he tended to the weeds that grew at the bottom of the trees. The weather finally cooperating enough to allow Loki to tend to his garden.
I walked to him and knelt down, grabbing his extra pair of gloves and beginning to pull weeds. We sat in a comfortable silence for a few moments before Loki finally spoke up.
"How has your morning been?"
"Oh you know the usual. Light interrogation and a cup of tea. No better way to start off the day." I replied sarcastically, yanking a few weeds out of the ground. "And yours?"
Loki chuckled and nodded. "It's been well, other than Lee giving me some trouble about going to school. Here lately she's been really rebellious about going and I'm not sure why. I'm thinking it might be bullies or something but I don't want to bring it up if it's not that. Maybe it could just be feminine problems that I wouldn't understand, you know?"
I nodded in understanding. "Worst case scenario it is feminine problems. And in that case I'm sure she has some other girl or woman to talk to. But it's better to ask about the bully situation than to just say nothing, because if she is being bullied you would want to know, right?"
"Yes I would." Loki answered.
"Then there you go. There's the answer to your problem. And you even found it on your own." I smiled, finishing up the last of the weeds before moving on to the next tree. I scootched over, slightly closer to Loki than I was before. Our shoulders grazed each other as we continued our activities together. "Alright I have a question."
Loki stopped and looked to me, raising a brow.
I sighed, resting my gloved hands in my lap. "You really don't have a problem with me being here because I'm a criminal in everyone else's eyes?"
Loki smiled and shook his head. "I'll tell you a little secret alright?"
I nodded, leaning a bit closer to Loki.
"I'm the God of Lies, okay? If your story wasn't the truth and your advice wasn't honestly from your heart, I would know. I'm the god of seeing through people's lies and so far you've told me none, other than what your first name is."
I smiled widely and blushed, going back to pulling weeds.
"So what is it?" Loki asked, still staring down at me.
"What is what?" I hummed, not looking up.
"Your first name. What is it really?" He repeated, gaze still fixed to me.
"I like to be called Breean." I answered finally, finishing up and tugging off the gloves. I tucked my right hand into my sleeve as to hide it. "But if I change my mind I'll let you know, alright?"
Loki nodded, watching as I stood and began to walk away. I could feel his eyes on me even as I neared the compound.
"See you at lunch!" I shouted, not looking behind me as I did.

The smile on my face instantly disappeared as I was pinned against the wall inside the back entrance of the building. I was lifted from my feet by the collar of my shirt.
"Who the hell are you?!"
"My name's Breean and I've be-" I paused, finally looking down to see who held me and I smirked.
Aodh....
"What're you smiling about?" He gritted, letting me back down onto my feet.
"Nothing." I sighed. Just good to see my big brother again... "Anyways, my name's Breean. I was brought here a week ago after a misunderstanding."
Aodh nodded, letting go of my shirt. "I'm Aodh."
I held out my left hand and Aodh took it, quickly shaking it and letting it go.
"So Breean, huh?" He asked, crossing his arms.
I nodded, doing the same and tucking away my right hand. My arms had been covered by sleeves since I got here. No one was ready for the amputee side of me yet.
"That's my little sister's name." Aodh shrugged. "Well, she's not technically my sister but that's what I've always seen her as."
"It's good to see how close everyone is." I smiled faintly. "I can't wait to meet this girl now."
