The next three days were spent with Loki in the interrogation room.

"So how did we all forget you?" Loki asked looking at me, completely lost in my words.
I sighed. "This is the part I didn't want to talk about."
Loki furrowed his brows. "Why?"
"It's a dark part of both of our lives." I huffed, crossing my arms. The sleeves of my shirt rode up a bit and I quickly covered them back up. "Anyways. Bree was kidnapped by someone that I knew. He was the closest thing I ever had to a father and he wanted me back as his little henchman. We fought him and he let us go after I begged him to let you live. We moved here and he returned. Bucky was hurt and so was Bree. Her legs..."
I leaned forward, rubbing both of my eyes. "She was paralyzed from the waist down and he was half dead. I agreed to go with him if he could change everything so that Bree was fine. And the price was-"
"Everyone had to forget you." Loki interrupted angrily. "Who was it?"
"You mean you actually believe me?" I asked, looking up to Loki in surprise. My eyes were red from holding back tears and my throat was on fire.
"If it's who I think it is, then yes, I believe you." Loki said, leaning closer to me. "Now tell me who it was."
"Thanos." I replied dryly. "I know what he did to you and I have no problem in telling you everything there is to know about me again. But I want you to know that he's dead. I killed him after he changed everything. But..."
"But?" Loki questioned. "You murdered him."
I shook my head. "No. It was self defense. He....he tortured me. He wanted me to be as compliant as I used to be when I was younger. Before I changed into a decent person. So, as soon as the opportunity came, I got free and killed him after he tried to take my other arm."
"Other arm?"
I nodded sadly, gripping the bottom hem of my sweater and pulling it over my head. I was in nothing but a sports bra, perfect for showing the scars that scattered across the surface of my skin. It was also perfect to show off the fake, metal arm that Tony had made for me.
"If it's anymore proof to Tony, his personal initials are engraved in this thing. He gave it to me a few days before I left." I chuckled, looking at the mirror.
Loki glanced over my body, taking in every scar and then my right arm. The light above us reflected off of my prosthetic every time I moved. He didn't look up from the limb as he spoke.
"How long has it been?" He asked quietly. "How long have you been living like this? Knowing everything about us and us not knowing you?"
"Six years." I answered. "I live on the same street as Peter. I even saw him a few times. Tony too. I never introduced myself. I thought it would be easier if I just stayed away. I was selfish, I know. But I didn't want Bree to live without legs that actually worked. She didn't need the trauma."
Loki's brows were furrowed as he sat, deep in thought.
"Loki...are you alright?" I asked, reaching out to take Loki's hand. He flinched back, standing on his feet and breathing heavily. I looked up at him in concern, watching as he covered his mouth with his hands. I stood up as well, slowly walking to his side of the room as tears rolled down his cheeks. "Loki..."
He hiccuped, finally uncovering his mouth. "Aidan!"
I was pulled into his arms tightly. The feel of Loki's cold skin against mine for the first time in what felt like forever sending shivers down my spine.
"I remember." Loki whispered, holding me close to him.
I sighed in relief, finally able to embrace Loki the way I has wanted to since arriving here. "I missed you so much, Loki."
After what felt like hours, we finally unwrapped from each other with ear-to-ear grins. But after a moment, I raised a brow.
"How did you remember all of a sudden?" I asked, resting my arms around Loki's waist.
"How could I forget you?" Loki replied smoothly.
"You literally forgot me for six years, Loki." I scoffed, rolling my eyes. "Now how did you remember?"
He chuckled. "I went to my mother. I asked her to help me remember."
"So she likes me? All the way from Valhalla?" I asked, smiling up at Loki.
He nodded. "She's loves you. And she's very proud of you for putting your family before your own happiness. But she also said that you better not do it again. It's time to settle down."
I grinned, looking over to the mirror. "What about everyone else? Do they remember too?"
My question was answered as Thor kicked open the door, knocked the table out of his way and picked me up into a bear hug. I squealed from the sudden movement but laughed as Thor put me down. I was only given a moment to breathe before everyone piled into the tiny room and squished me in a group hug.
"Guys, you're gonna break my arm!" I shouted over everyone yelling at me.
"Zip it, Zombie! We have over six years of complaining to do!" Tony sassed once everyone let go of me. He took my hand and lifted my right arm. "And if you really think that these guys can break my design, then I feel highly disrespected."
"Must it always be about you, Tony?" Steve asked, holding my head to his chest as if I were his child. "She went through so much pain for us and you're trying to make it all about you. Aidan, never call yourself selfish again."
I nodded and smirked at Tony. "I'm the ultimate form of selfless."
Tony just rolled his eyes and pulled me in for another hug.
I'm home.
