"Are you sure this is going to work?" I asked, watching as Breean helped Loki zip up his suit. She nodded, pushing her father to stand next to me. "We won't die or anything will we?"
"I'm sorry, but who was in charge of this technology?" Breean asked, crossing her arms.
"You. Little Tony." I sassed, pointing at the young girl.
"I'll only ever take that as a compliment." She grinned. "But you're safe. We've worked on this for over three months now. And five before that."
I nodded. "Alright I get it. Just send us back I guess."
Tony chuckled, taking in our appearances. "Well aren't you two straight from a sci-fi movie?"
I glared at him, crossing my arms. "Just beam us up, Scottie."
"Oh, you're not the only one's coming." Tony smiled, nodding his head back as to point behind himself. My eyes shot to the other side of the room. Aodh and Steve walked towards me, their faces neutral in expression. "Big brother has to help."
I rolled my eyes. "You don't have to do this, Aodh."
He shrugged. "May not be my little sister now but you will be. Might as well help Breean and Buck boy too."
I smiled and nodded, stepping closer to Loki. Aodh sighed as he stepped into the suit and held the helmet in his arm. He looked to Steve and smiled, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek.
"Let's do it." He mumbled, pulling on the helmet and standing next to me.
I nodded, placing my helmet on as well. "How long do we have before Thanos shows up again?"
"Approximately....thirty minutes." Breean answered, scanning the holograms in front of her. "You might not land here though so don't waste any time."
"Yes ma'am." I chuckled, straightening my posture as Tony and Breean readied the jump. I exhaled loudly, taking Loki's hand into my own. Aodh huffed under his breath, shaking his head. "Don't start. You may not remember me but that won't stop me from going bitchy little sister on you."
Aodh raised his hands in surrender. "I didn't say anything. It's just weird seeing the Snake with someone."
"What?" I questioned.
"Snake. That's what I call him." Aodh replied nonchalantly. "He had some weird freak out a few years ago and he turned himself into a snake for like two weeks."
"Hey!" Loki spoke up. "Can you not tell my business like that? It's not yours to share."
"Alright are you guys ready?" Breean asked loudly over the sound of the machine starting around us.
"We've been ready for like ten min-
"Here we go!!"
I gasped, the feeling of being pulled back harshly knocking the air from my lungs. I turned to my left, looking for Loki. We were free falling down what seemed to be a pit of nothing but one's and zero's. I couldn't breathe or move and I began to panic.
Don't panic. You're alright. Just relax.
I can't... Loki!

I shot awake, kicking and screaming before I could even take in my surroundings. A pair of hands gripped my shoulders, kicking me from my panic and pulling me back into reality. I breathed heavily, finally looking up and around me. Loki knelt in front of me, straddling my waist and gripping my shoulders tightly. The pressure of his fingers bringing me back even more.
"It's okay. It's just me." Loki spoke soflty, rubbing circles onto my collar bone with his thumb.
"Where are we?" I asked, now noticing the droning off bass around us.
"We landed in a night club not far from the compound." Aodh answered, helping me up as Loki stood. "Snake put a bit of sound proofing around us so you wouldn't be overwhelmed."
"Stop calling me Snake." Loki ordered, pressing the button on the side of his helmet that compacted it. He shoved it into his suits pocket before stepping out of the white material. Aodh and I did the same, straightening our clothes and stuffing our compacted suits into a drawstring bag. I threw it over my shoulders as we stepped out into the large crowd of people.
"How do you know where we are?" I yelled over the music and people, looking up to Aodh as we followed Loki.
"Tony gave me a GPS thing before we left. It's a special one that can handle the jump." Aodh explained, showing me the small device in his hand. He glanced up at Loki and then back to me. "So you're really with him?"
"Yes." I nodded.
"But why? He's basically psycho and you had a kid with him?"
"Can we not have this conversation right now? Last time we did it ended in a fist fight!" I shouted, the music becoming louder, if even possible. "Can't get arrested can w-
I was cut off as someone pulled me into a packed group of people. I groaned, trying my best to wriggle out of the herd of drunken strangers. I failed as a strong grip on my arm kept me in place. I turned around, glaring at the drunk man holding me.
"Let go!" I shouted, pulling away from him.
He shook his head pulling me against him. He grinned, sliding a hand up my shirt. I growled, gripping his wrist and twisting it at an unnatural angle. He screamed, falling onto the floor in pain and I ran, shoving people out of my way, looking for Loki and Aodh.
"Loki?! Aodh?!" I looked around, turning in circles.
Where are you?!
I could ask you the same thing! Just stay where you are!
We're at the doors.
I see you!
I ran to where Loki and Aodh stood, looking around the club for me desperately. I opened the doors and pushed them out onto the sidewalk. The streets were empty, wet from a past rain and the air was heavy with humidity.
"How much time do we have left?" I asked as we began to walk in the direction of the compound.
"Where were you?" Loki asked, ignoring my question.
"We have twenty minutes left." Aodh answered, leaving Loki and I to talk as we ventured on.
"Some guy pulled me into a group of people. Thought I was someone else." I lied, keeping my eyes away from Loki as I quickened my pace. "We have to hurry, we don't have much time."
"Aidan, what aren't you telling me?" Loki grabbed my arm lightly. I pulled away, stopping and glaring up at him. "We can discuss this later. Right now we need to find a car or something."
I walked again, looking for a car that had no alarm system. After five minutes, I found one.
"I need a shoelace." I said, circling the car and standing on the driver's side. "Anyone wanna volunteer their shoe?"
Aodh groaned, kicking off one of his boot and unlacing it. "What'll you do with that?"
I took the lace and twisted it as if tying a knot. I left a small loop in the middle and slid the lace behind the window, slowly moving it down. Once the loop was around the car door's lock, I tugged the string and pulled up, the door unlocking as I did.
"I'm getting us a car." I smirked, opening the door and unlocking the rest of the doors. The two men got inside and I drove off, having quickly hot-wired it.
"Since when can you do that?" Loki asked, leaning forward from his place in the backseat.
"Since they put locks in cars." I replied. "You do remember I'm over 200 years old, right?"
