"Okay, I wasn't going to say anything but you're really starting to freak me out." Loki said, walking to where I sat on the floor in our room.
I looked up at him. "Why?"
"You're so....calm all of a sudden." Loki explained, standing in front of me.
"Is that a bad thing?" I asked, tilting my head.
"No...but, it's..." Loki sighed. "Nevermind."
I stood, gripping Loki's sleeve before he could walk away. "What is it?"
He chuckled. "I like that you're so outgoing. Don't get me wrong, even when you're calm you're amazing but...I kind of miss your smart-ass side."
I grinned and stood. "Don't worry, I'll be out if this calm sooner than later. It only lasts about a week."
Loki nodded. "So do you have anything that you need from your house? Any belongings? Stark gave me permission to take you."
I nodded. "There's a few things and someone that I need to talk to."
Loki raised a brow. "Someone?"
"A friend from work." I explained. "He's probably been blowing up my phone these past few weeks. He might have even filed a police report."
"Tony already told the authorities you were here." Loki said, grabbing his jacket and handing it to me. "Here, it's a bit chilly out."
I smiled, pulling on his jacket. "Thank you."

I sighed, ringing the doorbell of my coworkers home. After a moment, the door opened and I was immediately pulled into a tight hug.
"L-Lamar!" I squealed, pushing out of his arms. "I need to breathe."
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!" Lamar yelled, shaking me by my shoulders.
I laughed, shaking my head. "It's a long story. Now stop shaking me!"
Lamar let me go, glaring behind me. "Who's this?"
"Oh, this is-"
"I'm Loki." Loki greeted. "I'm Aidan's friend."
Lamar nodded, bringing his attention back to me. "So are you going to tell me this long story?"
"I can't really tell you anything." I feign smiled. "I've just been upstate."
"I tried filing a police report and they said they knew where you were, but they wouldn't tell me." Lamar said. "What have you been doing upstate?!"
"Stop yelling for one." I huffed. "And two, I've been recruited to work as an intern for Stark Industries."
"All right. Why haven't you answered your phone?"
"She's been busy. And the first few weeks as an intern you can't have your phone on. Only the business cell phone that they give you." Loki explained, holding his arms behind his back.
Lamar squinted at him. "Damn Stark and his rules."
I chuckled, hugging Lamar again. "I'll see you soon, alright? Just know that I'm alright and in good hands. And I should have my phone back soon."
Lamar nodded sadly. "I assume I can't come see you then?"
I shook my head. "I'll try to come and see you as much as I can alright?"
"See you later then." Lamar sighed.
"Later." I smiled, turning to walk away.
"Hey Aidan." I turned to face Lamar again. "Love you, nerd."
I smiled. "Love you too, loser."

"So you and Lamar are more than friends?" Loki asked, helping pack up my last box.
I shook my head. "No. Why would think that?"
"Well...you told him that you loved him." Loki mumbled, closing the box and placing it with the two others.
"You're jealous." I laughed, crossing my arms.
Loki rolled his eyes. "No I'm not."
I hummed. "Alright. But anyways, Lamar and I have been friends for six years. We're like brother and sister more than anything."
Loki nodded. "Good. I mean...it's nice that you have a friend."
I grinned, stepping closer to Loki. He stood up and turned to face me, freezing as he saw how close I was to him. We stood only a foot apart and Loki chuckled nervously.
"You've gotten so much better about showing your emotions." I smiled, reaching out to hold Loki's hand. He blushed, gazing down at our hands. "I'm so proud of you, Loki."
Loki's cheeks turned a deep shade of pink at my words. "Aidan..."
I hummed. "What is it?"
"I've been looking back at your memories." He cleared his throat. "We used to...to make a lot of physical contact."
I nodded. "We did."
"It sounds strange, but I miss it." Loki admitted. "I miss something that I don't even remember."
"Is this your way of telling me that you want me to touch you more?" I questioned, smiling and tilting my head.
Loki looked away shyly and nodded. "O-only if you want to...you don't have t-"
Loki stopped talking as I hugged him closely, sliding my hands underneath the back of his shirt and rubbing his back. Loki tensed under my touch, eventually relaxing with a sigh. He hummed, wrapping his arms around me and nuzzling his head in the crook of my neck.
"Aidan." Loki mumbled.
"Hmm?" I hummed, not moving an inch.
"Thank you."
