"Aidan!" Lamar exclaimed, pulling me in for a hug. "How long have you been home?"

"I came back last night. I was too tired to drive over here." I explained, stepping into his home. I sighed, walking through the small apartment towards the kitchen. I paused to wave at his sister, who sat on the couch playing video games. "Hey Mj."

She nodded. "Wassup, Bread?"

I shrugged, deciding to take a seat next to her while Lamar made coffee. "Not much. Anything interesting happen with you lately?"

Mj smirked and paused her game. She adjusted so that she sat facing me. "So you worked with Stark right?"

I nodded. "Yeah, why?"

"And you were around heroes right? The Avengers and all?"

"Would you just get to the point already Mj?!" I exclaimed.

"Alright, alright, calm down!" Mj chuckled. She leaned in close to me. "Did you ever meet Spiderman? Like, the real him?"

I raised a brow. "I did. Why are you asking?"

"Because I know him too. He's one of my best friends and he just told me that he was Spiderman." Mj explained with a grin.

"Well did he prove it to you?" I asked, crossing my arms. "Or did he just tell you and assume that you'd believe him?"

"Oh no he showed me. He crawled around his ceiling and stuff. It was amazing!"

I smiled and shook my head. "It's nice to know that we both know a hero."

"I kinda feel bad for him though. He told me about this girl he kinda likes but she's a lot younger than him." Mj frowned. "I'm sure you know about it, right?"

I pursed my lips and nodded. "So you're good at keeping secrets right?"

Mj nodded. "Yeah, there's some stuff that even Lamar doesn't know. Including when I just told you. And don't get me wrong you're also one of my best friends, but I only told you 'cause you already knew."

"So can I trust you with a secret of mine? Like a legit secret that only two other people know about?" I asked quietly, glancing behind me to make sure that Lamar was still occupied.

Mj nodded again. "You know you can. I'm assuming this is one Lamar doesn't know either?"

"Yeah." I sighed. "The two other people that know are a literal God that got into my mind and a man that I showed with my own magic."

Mj nodded in understanding before looking at me in confusion. "Your own magic?"

I swallowed my nervousness and nodded. "I'm uh... I'm not...entirely human. In fact, I'm not human at all. I'm just like Thor and Loki. You know those two demi-god brothers?"

Mj's eyes widened. "I love them both so much. I basically know everything about them and you're telling me that you're just like them?"

I smiled awkwardly. "That's exactly what I'm telling you. In fact, six years ago I was an Avenger. Even a few years before then too. Nick Fury, the head of S-H-I-E-L-D wanted me as part of the team, so he had the Avengers take me back to the Tower. There I met everyone including Loki, who had been brought there a few months before me to become a hero as well. After about a year-and-a-half, I was good friends with everyone and I was even in a relationship with Loki. I died, came back and then everything was okay for a little while. Loki and I ended up leaving for over a year after that and then we returned after I told everyone that I was a Hydra experiment. The situation was taken care of but then I found out I was pregnant. I had the baby and Loki and I were happy for over four years. Then the only thing close I had to a father came and ruined everything. My daughter, which is the girl Peter likes by the way, was hurt and in order to make her better I had to leave. But leaving included making everyone forget while I remembered everything. So for the past six years I've known every one of the Avengers and I couldn't see my daughter. Now I'm here, freshly kicked out of the compound upstate and explaining to you the past ten years of my life."

I let out a long sigh, finally looking away from Mj as the sound of a glass breaking erupted from behind me. I turned around quickly, seeing Lamar standing in the entrance of the living room.

"You weren't supposed to hear that." I chuckled nervously.

"Is it really true? Everything you just said?" He asked weakly, glancing between Mj and myself.

I nodded. "Every last word and even the ones I didn't say."

"Why were you kicked out of the compound?" Mj asked quietly.

I turned to her again. "Loki saw into my mind when I first arrived at the compound. After that we got close again and even slept together. Stark found out and was a bit upset, so I used the magic Loki had taught me and showed him all of my memories. He freaked out and kicked me out and so I left. Who am I to say anything different when I just threw all of that onto him?"

"Well what're you gonna do now?" Mj questioned as Lamar took a seat on the floor next to our places on the couch.

I shrugged. "I guess I'll just go back to the way things were before people remembered. I'll just live in my small apartment by myself and go back to working at the daycare with Lamar."

"No you're not." Lamar said, standing from his place on the floor. He took my hand and pulled me from the couch, leading me to the front door. He shrugged on his coat and put his boots on before forcing me out of his home and into his car. Mj followed behind us, sitting in the backseat with a smile.

"Lamar what're you doing?" I huffed.

"I'm taking you back upstate so that you can get your life back together. I saw how happy you were when you saw me the other week and I need you like that all the time. I'm not letting you ruin your life or your happiness."

"Lamar, I love you and I know you're doing what you think is best, but you can't do this."

"I can and I'm going to."
