I stepped into the lab quietly, holding my arms behind my back. I watched as Tony, Peter and Bree all stood around a table in concentration and cleared my throat, catching their attentions.
"What are you doing down here?" Tony asked harshly. "Where's Loki?"
"He's...he's upstairs." I replied, keeping my head low. "I've been wanting to speak to you, Mr. Stark."
"What about?" He questioned. "Can't Loki handle it?"
I shook my head, finally looking up. "This is important, Stark. And I need to talk to you about it."
Tony huffed, glancing back at Bree and Peter. "Alright. Come have a seat."
I nodded, walking to the table and taking a seat along with everyone else.
"So, Ms. Murray, what is it that's so important?" Tony asked, folding his hands.
"I want to clear my name." I answered, lifting up my head in confidence. "I want you to hear my side of the story. The truth. Haven't you wondered why I'm the one free to move around the compound while Brunnhilde is still in her cell? I wasn't helping her rob that man, I was stopping her. And I fully understand the misunderstanding from Peter here, but I need you to know Mr. Stark, that I'm innocent."
I peeked out of the corner of my eye at Breean and Peter. They both sat with serious faces, glancing between Tony and myself.
"Why should I believe you?" Tony responded, glaring at me.
I chuckled, shrugging off Loki's jacket and holding out my arm. "Because I could never betray the man that's helped me the past six years of my life."
Tony squinted and leaned closer, gazing at his initials in my prosthetic. He looked at me in surprise. "I make artificial limbs?"
I nodded. "I was a special case. Just ask Loki if you really don't believe me."
"Uncle Tony." Breean spoke up, gathering both of our attentions. "I know you've been busy down here in the lab, but I've seen Dad's face and he trusts her. Dad of all people trusts her. So if he can, maybe we should too."
Peter nodded in agreement. "Bree is right. You know how Loki is and if he trusts her...."
"Alright, alright, I get it." Tony scoffed, glancing at me. "I'll give you one chance. One. And that's it, got it?"
I nodded and stood. "One more thing before I go."
Tony rolled his eyes. "Fine."
"I want to be a recruit and Loki wants the same thing for me." I said, grabbing Loki's jacket and folding it over my arm. "I think I'll be a great addition to the team and I think you need me. I've got strong resources and a strong past and it'll make me a great hero if need be. I could also be a dirty hero if that's what you want."
Tony smirked, resting his head on his hand. He stayed quiet for a few minutes before speaking. "Loki and Bucky will be a part of your training. You'll train the same time as Breean as well as Peter. You start tomorrow so don't stay up too late. That goes for all of you."
I looked at Peter and Breean and smiled triumphantly. "Will that be all?"
Tony nodded. "All three of you are dismissed."
I nodded and headed to the elevator, Bree and Peter following behind me. We stepped into the elevator and said nothing. I sighed, pressing the button to stop the elevator.
"Thank you. Both of you. I know it wasn't really your place to put in an opinion but I really appreciate it." I laughed, glancing between the two. "That being said..."
I pressed the button again and the doors opened. "I'll see you both tomorrow morning."

I smirked, leaning in the doorway of Loki's room. Or should I say our old penthouse.
"Sorry to intrude." I stepped into the room and stood next to where Loki sat in a recliner. "But I have some news for you."
Loki looked up at me and smiled, placing his book down. "Go on."
I bent down, my face only a few inches from Loki's. "You have another person to train now."
Loki raised a brow before smiling and pulling me into a hug. "That's fantastic!"
I lost my balance, falling onto Loki in his chair. I caught myself, my hand next to his head and one of my legs in between his own. I blushed, looking into Loki's eyes and chuckling.
"Heh, sorry." I began to push myself away, only to be stopped by Loki gripping my shoulder. "L-Loki... what're you-
"I want to remember." Loki said, looking at my face closely. "I want to be as happy as I used to be."
I smiled, pulling out of Loki's grasp and backing away. I held out my left hand to show off the small ring on my finger.
"You gave me this the last time we ever saw each other." I chuckled as Loki took my hand and looked at the ring. "You proposed and I said yes. And then I cried harder than I ever have in my life. You made me so happy and I the same for you. But I'm not your source of happiness, Loki. Look at what you have. A family that loves you, a team that's by your side no matter what, and you have Breean who loves you so much. I know seeing all of my memories makes you think that maybe you aren't as happy as you used to be because I wasn't around. But pay close attention and you'll see that you're just as happy now as you've ever been with or without me. And I don't want you to hold yourself back because you think I'm the one that changed you. You chose to change on your own. Yes I helped, but it was your decision in the end."
I paused for a breath, rubbing Loki's hand with my thumb. "Don't confuse your current feelings with the old ones you saw, Loki."
