"Can you run upstairs and get Breean for me please?" Tony asked, never looking up from his task.

I nodded and quickly exited the room. I made my way to the elevator and soon emerged into the lobby to find Breean. I sighed, unable to find her in the kitchen or in her room and so I turned around to go back into the lab with Tony. I walked somewhat quickly, only to be stopped and practically thrown to the ground by the force of running into someone.

"I'm sorry." I was helped up by a strong hand and I groaned, feeling dizzy from the sudden movement.

"It's alright." I looked up and Thor weakly smiled, letting go of my mechanical arm. "Thank you."

Thor nodded and turned to walk away.

"Thor." I spoke, unknown as to what I would say next. Thor stopped and turned to face me again.

"What?" He asked bluntly.

I frowned, looking down at my feet. "My name is Aidan, before anything else."

Thor said nothing as he crossed his arms.

"I wanted to tell you that you can trust me, if the time comes." I chuckled and shook my head. "I'm not like Brunnhilde. And I wasn't helping her that night. I guess what I'm saying is that I want to be your friend."

Thor took a step closer to me. "I already know your name and I also know that you were not helping Brunnhilde that night. And you know the same thing. I trust you, I do. And I guess what I'm saying is that we already are friends."

I looked up at Thor and grinned, tucking my arms behind my back happily. "So does that mean you'll be around more? Bree and Loki miss you. I do too, actually."

"I'm flattered, but Bree is always with Tony and Loki could never miss me. We haven't been as close as we used to be."

I raised a brow. "How close were you two?"

"Well we used to be practically enemies for a long time and then something happened and we became really close like we were when we were children. And then after about....four years ago, I suppose, we just weren't close anymore." Thor explained as we walked towards the kitchen. Thor froze in the doorway, causing me to bump into his back.

"Thor what's the matter?" I asked, stepping past him and into the kitchen. "Hey Loki."

Thor reluctantly followed me into the room and sat on the opposite end of the island as his brother. I stood in front of them on the other side, folding my arms beneath me.

"How has your day been, Loki?" I asked, taking a cookie from the package next to him. They were the same cookies I had shared with him the first night we had properly spoken to one another.

"Good." Loki nodded and smiled awkwardly.

I looked to Thor. "And yours?"

"Good, I suppose." Thor shrugged. "It'll be better once I am out of this armour and I take a shower."

I smiled and nodded. "How about you go do that while I make dinner for everyone."

Thor nodded. "Alright. I'll see you in a bit."

I smiled and winked as Thor stood. Once he was gone, I moved around the kitchen and grabbed what I needed.

"Who all is here?" I asked, glancing at Loki as I grabbed ingredients from the refrigerator.

"Thor, Tony, you, me and I think Aodh and Steve are stopping by for a bit as well." Loki answered, standing to make himself another cup of tea.

"Where's Breean?" I questioned, beginning to cut up vegetables. Loki stood next to me, leaning against the counter.

"She's at a friend's house." He explained before drinking from his cup.

I nodded. "She never mentioned a friend to me."

"It's Peter." Loki said, quickly looking away from me.

"She's staying the night with Peter?" I questioned, turning to face Loki, knife in hand.

Loki nodded hesitantly. "She stays with him all the time. And like I said, I trust Peter."

I squinted and turned back around. I threw the vegetables into the pan as well as chunks of chicken.

"Well this will be done soon. Can you gather everyone up for me?" I asked, stirring the food.

Loki nodded and headed towards the door.

"Thank you, love." I said, quickly shutting my mouth at the realization of my own words. I cleared my throat, my cheeks warming up in a blush. "Thank you."

I saw as Loki smirked in the corner of my eye.

"You're welcome, love."
