"Have you two thought of a date?" Natasha asked as she took a seat. Everyone sat in the foyer, sipping on their drinks and conversing about whatever should come up. It was an early party to celebrate our engagement.
"I personally was thinking sometime in May." I smiled, glancing to Loki who sat next to me. "You have any ideas?"
He shook his head with a smile. "Getting married during the same month we first met would be fantastic."
"You remember?" I questioned with a chuckle.
Loki nodded, planting a light kiss to my temple. "Of course I do. How could I forget?"
I shrugged, nuzzling my head onto his shoulder. "Probably the same reason I can never forget a single moment with you."
Loki hummed, petting my hair.
"So the hot head is getting married? And to the Sass Queen?"
I lifted my head and smirked, watching as Sam and Bucky entered the room. "Didn't think you two would make it. What were you doing?"
"We literally sat outside for twenty minutes while Sam thought of that shitty one liner." Bucky answered, sitting next to me. "You can kill him if you want. I wouldn't object."
"Hey! I would object!" Sam exclaimed as he took a seat across from us. "I don't want to be burned, frozen and then thawed out by these two. They're like the most evil team of refrigerator and microwave."
"Say one more thing and I will take off my arm and throw it at you." I threatened, glaring at Sam.
Sam scoffed. "You wouldn't."
I grabbed my arm, preparing to disconnect it from myself. "You wanna bet?"
Sam laughed, throwing up his hands in surrender. "We're cool, we're cool. Now put the arm down before someone gets hurt!"
With a grin, I turned to face where Steve sat quietly. "Hey Steve, can I talk to you for a second?"
He looked to me and nodded, standing up from his seat and following me into the kitchen. With a sigh, I looked up to him and smiled, putting up my mental barrier so that Loki couldn't hear me.
"You're an artist, right?" I asked in a hushed voice.
Steve raised a brow and nodded. "I guess you could call me that. Why?"
"Well, I've been drawing quite a bit here lately and I wanted your opinion on a gift I made for Loki." I explained, fidgeting with my fingers.
"Show me what you've got." Steve smiled.
I grinned ear to ear, quickly grabbing my sketchbook out from underneath the kitchen sink.
"Why was that-
"Don't ask." I chuckled, flipping to the right page and handing the book to Steve. "How is it?"
Steve said nothing as he gazed over my art. He smirked, handing me the sketchbook again.
"Well?" I urged, closing the book.
"You're better than me." He said reassuringly with a nod. "He'll love it. Hell, I love it."
I hummed, hugging Steve tightly before backing away with a grin. "I just have to get it framed."
"I know a guy that can do it for cheap. He does a good job, too." Steve offered as we stepped back into the den.
I nodded. "That would be great."
I took a seat on the sofa next to Loki, who sipped on his wine quietly as everyone else continued talking. I leaned closer to him, resting my head next to his on the back of the sofa.
"What's the matter, Mischief?" I asked quietly in his ear.
He shrugged, staring down at his now empty wine glass. "You put up your barrier."
"Would it make you feel better if I told you that I had a surprise for you?" I grinned, watching as Loki's eyes lit up in curiosity. "There he is."
"What did you get me?" He asked, trying his hardest to read my mind. He failed with a huff and crossed his arms.
"Pouting isn't going to work this time." I chuckled, tucking a hair behind Loki's ear. "If it were an ordinary surprise it might but this time is different. Can you wait for me? Can you be good?"
"I'm not a child. Of course I can." Loki scoffed, rolling his eyes.
"With an attitude like that you might not get your present tonight, either."
Loki raised a brow, glancing at me. "What kind of present?"
I smirked, leaning closer to his ear. "The kind that involves unwrapping me."
Loki leaned back to look at me. His eyes grew darker as he smiled mischievously. I licked my lips, staring into his eyes.
"You guys are gross." Aodh gagged, pulling Loki and myself out of our own little world. He smiled smugly, wrapping an arm around Steve's waist as he adjusted his seat. "What're you talking about?"
"Something that little ears like yours shouldn't hear." I replied with a smirk.
"Oh come on, how bad can it be?" Aodh chuckled. "You two seem pretty tame."
"As if! It would haunt you to know what I was into." I laughed, crossing my arms. "Loki over here isn't much better either."
"Give me two examples." Aodh demanded.
I smiled, looking over to a blushing Loki. "And give away Loki's secrets? I'll pass. Don't want you stealing any tricks."
"Oh, so Loki does have tricks?" Aodh asked smugly, looking at Loki. "She calls you Daddy doesn't she?"
"Dude! That's your sister!" Sam spoke up.
I shrugged and laughed. "He doesn't care. But neither do I."
"I care! I very much care!" Loki exclaimed, covering his blushing face.
"Never answered my question." Aodh chuckled.
"No, okay? I answered. Can we change the subject?" Loki mumbled.
"I don't know, Steve, do you wanna talk about your daddy kink or not?" Aodh grinned.
"Shut up!" Steve shouted, punching Aodh in the arm.
Aodh laughed, Steve kept swatting at him. Eventually Steve stopped and Aodh smiled, kissing the blonde man on his very red cheek.
I looked over to Loki and smiled, grazing his cheek bone with my thumb.
"I love you, Mischief."
