book two: Ariel's Time

chapter 3

James Pov 

I arrived at the Lakes House walking in to find this place a madhouse. With half making their way to the back and the other half getting beers. On the side note the meeting was a success we now have a new alli. Quit glad too Jeff is a good guy, I have no doubt on his help if we ever need it. And of course he will be able to count on us. He may not be as big as out pack but he's close with being the third biggest in the country. Him living in North Carolina and we reside in Florida making it easy for it not being a too far of a drive faster via plane but not big enough for half my warriors. 

"Hey James." I looked over to see Mike, Jeff brother and Beta of the pack. 

"Hey Mike. This place looks nice, you need to send me your decorator designer." I joked with him grabbing myself a beer. "Yea they did an amazing job, It was actually my nieces who did it, Ariel and Jennifer." He said. 

"Talent runs in your family I see." 

"Only when it matters." He said winking at me.

"You know one of these days that dirty mind of yours is going to get you in trouble." I heard a woman say from behind. I turned around and was met with Mia with her hands on her hips. 

"Come on dear sister, where is your humor? This mind hasn't got me in trouble yet. Plus, Alpha James here didn't seem to mind at all." I laughed and nodded agreeing with him and he gave his sister a 'see'. She just shook her head and laughed a long. "I was sent to fetch you two, Jeff is about to start the show." She grabbed Mikes arm and mine and led us to the open field with a stage in the front of all this chaos. 

"Ok, I will see you guys later I need to go find Ryder so we can go find our spot." she kissed her brother on the cheek and disappeared in the crowd. "Dude your going to love this they have been practicing non stop for this night." Mike told me. 

I never expected anyone to really go out for our arrival. It was only supposed to be a bonfire and beers just something small. 

"Hello everyone, I am so glad you took your time to come out here to welcome our guest of the North Star Pack. If you were at the meeting you would know we had officially became allies with Alpha James and are looking forward to the future with them. Now everyone give a warm welcome to my niece Ariel and her bandmates." everyone started clapping their hands as Jeff welcomed the most beautiful girl on stage. She was a goddess, she looked amazing. 

"Hello everyone...." As she started talking my wolf started screaming in my head "Mate!" Oh god,  I found her. I finally found her. 

Music started playing and her and her partner started singing. Her voice is amazing! Her partner was playing the guitar singing along when she went over behind him running her hand over his arms making my wolf growl in the process. 

"Hey James, How you liking it so far?" I heard Jeff say coming up patting me on the back. 

"They are good." I told him never leaving my gaze off of them. She looked amazing in a nice black dress dancing up there in white heels which I was surprised too. A lot of woman could barely walk in those damn things, but she was walking and dancing in them making her even more irresistible. 

They started circling each other in small strides never taking their eyes off each other as they sung. "Can't seem to let you go, can't seem to keep you close." He sang twirling her around as she moved to the other side of stage singing and him staying in the middle. 

"Hey Uncle Jeff." I turned around to see a young man coming up hugging Jeff in a bro hug. "Troy this is James, James this is my nephew Troy." Jeff said introducing us. I turned and shook his hand giving him a small smile in return.
