book two: Ariel's Time

Chapter 23

After a big discussion in the forest me and Magnus are back in my room the sun setting as we wait for my brother and Rain. Me and Magnus didn't say anything to each other just sat in a comfortable silence and I was ok with that. They both were pretty upset after hearing what we have been through but tried not to make things escalate more then it already was. It was in the past and despite them wishing or wanting to do something it was already done. The damage was already branded on me and you cant change the past just your future. 

The door slammed open with Troy and Rain rushing in with bags of suitcases slamming the door behind them locking it. "We should go, like now." Troy said frantic. 

"What did you do?" I asked. 

"I kind of sneaked into grandmas and grandpas world and took all the spell books we needed for your new powers! But that's not all, they are furious and like full on moon goddess furious because I disabled the tracking spells off each and everyone of them and I also took the dragon stone...." 

"YOU DID WHAT!" I screamed at him as bagging started coming at the door with loud voices on the other side. 

"What's a dragon stone?" Magnus asked. 

"No time brother, we need to go before they get in here Ariel hands now!" I looked at my very idiotic brother grabbing his hands as we chanted the portal spell. The gate opened and we told Magnus and Rain to enter first they did as me and Troy threw our suitcases in and right as we followed in suit my door flew off its hinges and the last thing we saw were our very furious red grandparents.  We landed at our destination and we were in some dark room. 

"Would you please explain to me what possible sane reason you had to sneak in to that place and steal the most valuable things and expect us not to be found!" I screamed into the darkness. A light turned on and I saw my brother near the light switch as I looked around to see we were in some hotel room. Where the hell are we? 

"Exactly there was no sanity to the little adventure I had. It was all pure insane if you ask me! Look I could not train you properly without those books. And the Dragon stone was really just a bonus. Come on we would be able to summon a dragon when ever we wanted. That is bonus training for us.  Good thing about that is two of them is very founded of you. We might get a big lecture from what we did, but all will be fine in no time." He said smiling and I sometimes think I have to put him on a leach! 

"Where exactly are we?" Magnus asked. 

"That my brother is a very great question! We are in Paris." He smiled excitedly that idiot has always wanted to go to Paris. I should have know that is where we were going. 

"Your joking right? This is the most idiotic plan you realize that right? Everyone in our family knows Paris is the number one place you have always wanted to go, why do you not think they would not look here first?" I asked him my tone giving off a little annoyance. 

"Well my dear sister that is exactly why I chose this place, they will spend all there time looking here once I leave a small trail for them to find us like leaving my own name on the check in list. We are not staying here the entire time its just for tonight to give me and your lover boy over there to send scents all over Paris. Then by morning we are leaving to Europe I know a guy there who has a type of secret hideout. He is not much of a people person but I met him a while back and he is quite the vampire." 

Wait, back up! A vampire, out here? Alone? 

"How could you know a vampire? Especially a loner one, it is very rare but those are the ones that are usually the most dangerous ones." Magnus added.

I looked back at my brother and he was thinking and the next words that flew out of his mouth made me what to slap him across the face!
"Well we won't know till we get there, because he doesn't know we are coming." 

I swear I am going to fucking murder him if that vampire doesn't beat me to it. 

"My love, I trust you but this plan is just not thought through are you sure this is the right thing to do?" Magnus asked me. I looked over to my brother and Rain as they whispered among themselves and I am starting to wonder that myself. I turned around and grabbed Magnus hands as I looked at him and smiled. 

"You are right it isn't well planned, but at this point we really just have to go with the flow. I get my brother is beyond weird and stupid but he means well." I told him kissing him as he let out a low growl of frustration as I bit his lip, I pulled away and he looked at me admiring every loose lock there was and my very full lips, and full eyes. "Ok, as long as I am with you I will follow, but please let me be a part of your brotherly sisterly discussions. No more secrets or outburst, talk to me ok. As partners, I am not going to stop you from doing what you do because I know you are capable on your own but let me be by your side." I smiled and nodded at him kissing him and he wrapped his arms around my waist picking me up kissing me forcefully as a pulled on his hair. We wanted to go further but knew we weren't alone so had to stop before things start coming off. 

"Alright lover boy, lets go check in properly and we can run around in different directions first, you can take one of Ariel perfumes that would help make it more believable. and then we can walk around together for a bit." My brother said giving Rain a kiss on the lips as he grabbed something of hers walking out the door trying to rush Magnus. 

"Ill be back my love, try to get some sleep please." He pecked my lips before following my very impatient brother.  I groaned in annoyance grabbing my suitcase grabbing my pajamas out and heading to the shower to take a very cold shower hoping that would help me sleep.

"So my family is like very serious when it comes to our magic, like there is this rule book you have to follow. It was such a pain growing up. The only place you were allowed to do magic was in training or school that is it." Rain told me. It was currently three in the morning and I know we were supposed to be getting sleep but we couldn't sleep knowing the boys were out there not knowing if they are ok not wanting to risk mind-linking them and distracting them.
