"Were you with Jimin yesterday?" Jungkook asks, with Taehyung quickly jogging up to his side.
Areum nods her head, closing her locker shut slowly. She tucks a strand of hair behind her ear and looks up at the two boys.
"Is there something wrong?" She asks.
Jungkook shakes his head, shoving his hands into his pocket. "Of course not. I'm just surprised that you two are close." He mentions.
It was rather surprising indeed - their friendship just blossomed out of nowhere.
Taehyung raises his head, "Are you guys going out?" He asks softly.
Areum widened her eyes slightly before vigorously shaking her head. Taehyung seemed to be relieved by this - but Areum didn't want to just assume that either.
The three of them began walking to the cafeteria as they chatted about how their day was. Taehyung was excitedly talking about waking up to his dog licking his face. Areum used to find it cute - how much Taehyung loved his dog, Yeontan.
"Areum!" A voice calls out, catching the attention of the three teenagers.
Jimin could be seen running up to them, he nods towards Taehyung and Jungkook, acknowledging their presence and mumbles a quick "Hi" to Areum before excusing himself again.
He doesn't forget to send Areum a smile.
"That was weird." Jungkook states. Areum smiles a little, "It was."
