Chapter 29
'Hey.' Elisa heard him say. When they came home she had made her way to the room she stayed in and tried to sleep. Too bad the door couldn't be locked.
'Go away.' She told Will. 'I'm trying to sleep.'
'It's five o' clock.' He said, chuckling because he knew she wasn't trying to sleep.
'Whatever. Leave.' So what if she was rude or unladylike. It was not like was polite either. He hadn't even knocked.
'Come with me.' Will said, reaching for the covers.
'I'm tired.' She pulled the covers up till her nose and held them tightly.
'I can explain.' Will whispered, lifting her out of the bed with the covers still over her. 'Just.. not here. Come with me.'
'Put me down.' Elisa demanded. Will put her down and she wrapped the blanket around her.
'Please, Elisa.'
'Alright, alright. Just... Would you mind leaving for a few minutes?' She knew she didn't really have the right to tell Will where to go in his own house.
'Why?' Will pulled her into a hug, whispering in her ear. 'Are you going to flee trough the window?' Elisa rolled her eyes.
'I'm in my underwear underneath this blanket. Can I have some privacy?' Though fleeing might be a better option than putting on some clothes. Well... maybe both would be the best.
'Oh come on, Elisa! It's not like I haven't seen you nearly naked before.' Will said teasingly.
'That was before Michelle taught me all about reproduction and boys. And before you declared us "just friends".' Elisa pushed him out of the room.
'Oh god. Why did she do that? Now you are going to play hard-to-get, stress over clothes before dates and become pregnant in no time.' Will exclaimed dramatically.
'Why would you care, it's not like you will be the father.' Elisa smirked before closing the door. She hoped it hurt him. That it stung, just like it stung to be just friends.
'Care to share who it's going to be than?' He asked loudly from the other side of the door. She ignored him and put on skinny jeans, a floral top and a cardigan. She brushed her hair quickly and opened the door.
'Well, hello.' Will said after he fell on top of her. He had been leaning against the door and lost his balance when she opened it. 'I knew it would be me after all.' He wiggled his eyebrows and Elisa laughed, even though she was angry at him.
'Get off me.' Elisa tried to push him off her, but he wouldn't budge. Instead he pressed kisses on her neck, her cheeks and her forehead. 'Will! What if your father sees us?' Elisa asked, pushing him off her. Will stood up, offering her his hand like nothing happened.
'He won't mind. And if he does; it's his problem.' He said simply, leading her down the stairs and into the garden.
'And what if I mind?' Elisa asked, looking away from him.
'Are you still angry?' Will sounded hurt, and sorry.
'Just kissing me doesn't make everything alright.' She regretted everything she said as soon as he let go of her wrist. Just why again was she angry? Oh. Right. He didn't like her back, even though he had given her the illusion. And tried to convince her again right now.
'But kissing is all that I'm good at.' Will said softly and pityful He seemed really sad. She hit his shoulder playfully.
'Why did you tell me loved me, when we were only friends? Why did you kiss me? Why are you kissing me, even when I know your kisses don't mean anything? And,' She pointed at the leather bracelet,'What does this mean?'
