Chapter 9: Talking

"Renesmee, lets go, were running late." I yelled down the hall getting Amanda all bundled up for the cold outside.

"Renesmee, come on." I yelled once more.

"Ok, Im coming." She answered walking into the kitchen.

"You guys ready." I asked picking up Amanda's carrier.

"yes." Was all Renesmee said, while Mandy fell asleep again. Ever since we brought Amanda home we have notice that she sleeps...alot. Like every other hour she's asleep. I've been going online and it all it says is that Amanda need some play time, to get her all happy, awake and energetic.

"Why is she so tired all the time?" Renesmee asked me walking out the door to the car.

I opened the backseat door and put Amanda in, buckling her up, "Because she a baby, Renesemee and babies need there sleep."

"But why?, she sleeps like all the time." she dragged on, bending her head back on the seat.

"Well, maybe when we get Grandpa Charlie's you can play with her. You two need some sister bonding time." I said, driving on to the highway.

"Yeah, I guess." She said quietly. It was silent for a few minutes when Renesmee spoke.

"Hey mom?"

"Yeah?" I asked back, looking at her in the rearview mirrior.

"Where's dad?" SHe asked

"He's with Carlisle today, there getting something's done."

"Oh ok."

from there all the way to Charlie's it was quiet, besides the noise of Amanda waking up at starting to fuss. I asked Renesmee to play with her, which she gladly excepted.

Once we got to Charlies, him and Sue were already outside waiting for us. As soon as the car was stopped Renesemee jumped out and hoped into Charlies arms.

"Hey," I could here him say, "your getting tall, what is that like a foot taller than last time?" He asked Sue, who was walking towards the car.

"Hey, you droppin' off Amanda as well?" She asked, standing next to me.

"yeah, there all your's for today." I smiled, handing the carrier to her.

She laughed, " where you going today?"

"Uh Seattle, getting done some late Christmas shopping." I said, Partially lying, I was going Christmas shopping but I was also go to meet this J. Jenks person Alice had wrote on the paper.

"Oh have fun with that." Sue smiled

I laughed, "Thanks. Hey Renesemee come give me a hug before I go." I hollered to her, she and Charlie turned their heads, Charlie put her down and she came running to me. Giving me a big hug.

"By mom." Renesmee whispered, and than ran back to Charlie, making me and Sue laugh. I saw Amanda stretch out her arms. I walked over to her.

"And goodbye to you as well Mandy." And kissed her on the head.

" I'll see you guys later. " I said slipping into the car.

As I drove off saw Renesmee wave her hands to me, I waved back and drove off.

Renesmee's POV

When we got inside, Sue went over to get Mandy out, "Can I hold her?" I asked going towards them.

"Sure, but you need to sit down." Sue said, I obeyed and sat on he couch, as I held my sister I notice her looking at me and raising her hand. I softly grabbed her hand and she showed me a vision.

'Bottle + Formula = now'

It took me a minute to realize that she was hungry, I looked at her and sent her a mentle note:

'You are getting smarter by the day arent you?'

'Yep' She thought.

I laughed at that, "What's so funny, Nessie?" Sue asked, seeing me laughing.

"Oh nothing, um I think Mandy's hungry." I instantly said.

"How do you now that?" She asked

"Oh just sisters intuition." I said, half-heartedly

She gave me a skeptical look, but in the end she just nodded and and grabbed a bottle and some formula out of the dieper bag and went to the kitchen. I leaned back into the couch.

"Alright do you want me to feed her or you?" Sue asked, coming back from the kitchen with a bottle. I still had my finger in Amanda's small one, she than sent me a mentle image of me.

'Me?' I asked her in her thoughts, she smiled a toothless grin.

"Um I guess I will." I said, looking up at Sue.

"Ok, but you have to sit up straight and hold her head up, to feed her." I nodded as I did what Sue instructed.

As I fed my sister, Sue started talking to me, "Hopefully once she's done eating we can start decorating the tree, huh sound like fun?"

"Definatley, I'd like that, not sure if Amanda would though." I fround.

"Why wouldnt she?"

"Well when she eats, afterwords she gets really tired."

"Mm, well we're just gonna have to keep her awake than wont we?" Sue smiled.

"yeah, Hey I have a question."

"What is it?" Sue asked.

"Is it odd that sometimes...I feel," I couldnt finish my sentence.

"Feel what sweetie?"

"Its bad, I cant say it."

"Honey it cannot be that bad, just tell me its ok." She tried to assure me.

I sighed, "Ok." I said and started again, "Is it odd that I feel jelouse of Amanda sometimes? Because its like sometimes I feel like she's getting more of the attention than of the whole family, I know shouldnt feel this way but its just I do sometimes."

She just gave me a comforting look, " Nessie its ok to have these feelings, and its good that you talk to someone about it even if its me thats perfectly fine. It just means basically what you said: you feel like your getting lesser attention than your sister. Let me tell you a story: I have a younger sister named Rose-mary, growing up I never liked her because just like you I was jelous. Hated that girl the minute she left womb, but as we both grew up I knew that hatred would faid, and it did. Now I have to admit every now and again she'll get on my nerves but I'll always love her like a sister.

You get what Im saying?"

I though about it than answered, " I think I do, are you saying that no matter how jelous I am, I'll love my sister no matter how much a pain in the neck she is sometimes?"

Sue snickered, "yes, thats exactly what I'm saying. Maybe not in those words but close enough."

"Thanks for talking with me Sue its really helped." I said, smiling a half smile I aquired from my dad.

"You are very welcome."
