"Come on Leon, He's a kid and he likes it." My mom argued.

She yelped in pain as I flinched watching my dad hit her.
"NO!"
"Don't hurt her!" I cried.
"N-Nick baby hush, o-okay." My mom held her jaw as tear drops fell out of her eyes rapidly.
"Mommy's fine pumpkin."

Daddy grabbed her by her hair and pulled it hard, snatching her back.
My lip began to shake as I watched him hit her again and again making her scream.
Poor Mommy.
This is all my fault.
"Pleaseee don't be mad at her."
"Please." I begged as she cried silently.
He hit her again making me so upset.
I can't take this.
"DADDYYYYY!"
"STOP IT!"
His head snapped in my direction and he let go of mommy, beginning to walk over to me.
I grabbed the bottom of my shirt and backed up, looking him in the eyes as he cornered me.
He's scary.
"DONT HURT HIM!"
Mommy yelled.
"HE'S EIGHT!"
He bent down and grabbed my face roughly pulling it closer to his.
"What did I tell you about calling me Daddy Nick?" He asked.

"I said that I don't wanna hear you call me that shit anymore! Don't ever say that gay shit again in your life-understood?!"

Daddy squeezed my face so hard, my lips puckered as tears started to fill my eyes.

He raged.

He looked at me angrily before slapping me across my face with the back of his hand.
