"Nicholas?"
"H-Huh, yes?"
I zoned back in to see the lady extending a tissue my way with a sympathetic look on her face.
"I'm sorry." I apologized, grabbing the tissue from her hands
"I blanked out a little."
She nodded understandingly turning her eyes back to the clipboard.
"Would you still like to file a rape case?"
I nodded slowly, fighting back the tears that came with doing this.
"and you know this person correct?" She asked, moving her pen along the paper.
"Yes." I croaked out, sniffling.
She paused for a second, setting down her pen and turning her full attention back to me, staring in my eyes.
"I need you to be completely honest with me so I can help you, okay?"
I felt guilty for even being here but I had no choice but to do this.
I didn't know what Taymor was capable of doing if I didn't go through with this and I refused to be an idiot and make the wrong decisions again.
"o-okay."
She placed her hand on mines in comfort.
"Nicholas, has this happened before?"
"yes."
"how many times?" She questioned, grabbing her pen again.
"a lot," I admitted, feeling myself getting choked up all over again.

"Can you tell me his name?" She asked, not looking up from her paper.
I bit my lip, regretting the words before I even said them.
I had to do it though,
