6 months later:
Emmy stands in front of her ancestor's tombs. She spent the last three hours cleaning it and had just placed flowers, a whole feast of food and several jars of wine in front of the tablets. She lit the insenses and kowtowed towards them three times before the monks started hitting a gong as they chanted.
Emmy sat in front of the tablets and thought back to the day that Ceco was under attack. The day she thought she would die. Just the thought of her leaving her men, made her scared of never seeing them again. Which made her greedy to live.
When she woke up the next day, Seoras was sitting by her side and held her hands tightly. She knew he was worried for them, but it was hard for him to express it to them.
Emmy reached out and held him close to her. He immediately laid down next to her as she told him what happened to her.
"The Souls of Amaratu. What are they?" Emmy asked. It was because of the Souls that she survived.
"The Souls of Amaratu are the souls of demons. When they were alive, they were the wives of Medrud Amaratu, The Dark. Ruler of the shadow world. One wife was a mage. The other was a wizard. When they died protecting Medrud, The Dark, he was so sad that he encased their souls inside an enchanted emerald stone to one day be with them again." Seoras told Emmy. "When I was ten years old, traveling with my Master. I wasn't being careful and fell into an illusioned cave. Inside of that cave I went through trials and tribulations. And although I passed. I was injured, bleeding and almost dead. And yet, I was determined to leave the cave. At the end of the tests, I came to a hidden cave. Inside was an onyx stone. The moment I reached out and touched it, I became one with it. Medrud, became apart of me. The only condition he had was to find his wives and bring them to life again so he could be with them. I accepted his conditions. He guided me and helped me grow as a mage and a wizard."
"A mage and a wizard?" Emmy asked.
"Medrud was a wizard, while I am a mage. We combined our powers and magic together to become a Warlock." Seoras told her. "That's what you are. A warlock."
"Why did you choose only me? You could have chosen another woman and placed the other stone inside of her. Why did you put both inside me?" Emmy asked.
"Because." Seoras said as he hugged her tighter to his body. "The moment I met you, I realized how much you wanted to live. However you never begged me for your life. I thought you were interesting. At that time, I just thought I would give you the Souls of Amaratu, just so I can keep my word to Medrud. I thought maybe I would help you with your magic and part ways after you learned to control your magic."
Seoras kissed Emmy's lips lightly before continuing.
"I never thought I would fall so much in love with you. Never thought how much you would mean to me. To Gengrick. To Dominic. It just so happened that we fell in love with each other. Slowly, but surely. It was our fate to come together and be as one."
Seoras kissed Emmy again and cupped her cheek as he stared down at her.
"Do you regret it?"
"Never." Emmy whispered.
"Never?"
"Never." Emmy said with conviction.
Seoras smiled sweetly at her and kissed her again. "Neither do I. I will never regret meeting you. Capturing you and bring you with me.""You mean kidnapping me?" Emmy teased him as she kissed his chin.
"It was the best decision of my life." Seoras told her.
