Today is the day of my grandpa's funeral. Probably one of the hardest days this family will have. Everyone is getting dressed. My house is packed with family because everyone came into town and stayed at my house being that it is the biggest. So this morning is a very hectic one. We have about an 1 hour and a half to get ready before the limos get here to take us to the church. I head dowmstairs and everyone us eating. My grandmother is no where to be found. I go to look for her.  I find her in the bedroom standing in front of her talking to God. She is thanking God for her husband and what a great father he was and blessed him for their union. I admire her for her strength because I don't know what it's like to lose a spouse to death. When she is done, I walk over to her and just hold her hand. She smiles and asks if I am okay. I just sigh and tell her I'll be fine. I take her downstairs and fix her plate. After everyone is done eating, I grab my kids and Sean and I begin getting them ready. Marc and Custcher, and Sean Jr. go in the room with Sean to get ready in their tuxedos. I take the girls: Mickaelah, Seana and Samara. We all put on black dresses. I grab my shades and we all head downstairs. In the next ten minutes, we are loading up into the limos... and heading to the funeral

3 Hours Later

The funeral was nice. My grandpa was honored well. We are now at the burial site.. They sing a few songs and we say our final goodbyes. I comfort my mom who is comforting my grandma. Sean comes over to see if I am okay.  I see the hurt in his eyes for me. I am a wreck... And my kids well.. The ones that are old enough to understand.. have been silent. The boys really haven't said a word regarding the whole thing since it was told to them. And even he wasn't Mickaelah's biological great grandpa, she is taking it hard as well.

It will take a while for all of us to adjust but this too shall pass.
