Cyrus's eyes went wide for a second, "...Tsubasa what's going on?" Cyrus asked calmly.
"I need everything you know about that «PK'er»," I said injecting.
"Tsubasa, what's going on!?" He said louder.
I sighed, "...Forget it." I turned toward the door, "this was a waste of time," I said feeling my anger bubble up in the pit of my stomach.
Before I could get to the door, Leiliana jumped in front of it, blocking the exit. By the time I looked back at Cyrus he was already directly in front of me.
"No way you're getting away that easily. What's going on. Why do you want to find that «PK'er»? You know what, screw the money, just tell me," Cyrus said to me looking me directly in the eyes.
"Don't worry about it," I replied trying to slip past Leiliana.
"I'm your friend, so yeah I'm gonna worry about what's going on!" Cyrus said once again grabbing me by the shirt. "You're gonna sit in that chair and tell us what's going on with you so we can help. You're not leaving to you do," he said bluntly pointing to a chair by the counter.
"...Fine," I replied as I looked away.
Cyrus let go of me while Leiliana went and got a chair.
I sat down.
My head hung low.
Just thinking about everything that's happened made me feel sick.
"So, Tsubasa talk, what's going on?" Cyrus asked me looking me dead in the eyes.
"It's a long story," I replied looking away.
"Hey Leila, we're closing the shop for the day," Cyrus said as he motioned to Leiliana.
"Sure thing," Leiliana said as she went over to the door and changed the setting to closed.
"Alright Tsubasa, no more excuses, just what the hell is going on?" he asked again.
I sighed, gathering my thoughts, "...Well it started about a month after--"
"You abandoned Xuelian," Cyrus said cutting in.
"...Yeah. I had been wandering around for a while going around to different places fighting in different dungeons. I kind of stayed away from the towns for a while. I only came back to towns to resupply or change classes," I said looking down.
"I see, did notice you're a Druid now. Those classes did tend to be popular with solo players," Cyrus said.
The Druid class advances from of the [Arcanist] and then [Seer] class. The Arcanist and all its offshoot classes were Avinirran exclusive classes. Those who became a Seer had the option to become an Overseer or Druid. Overseers are a healing class that uses their pet, a totem to heal allies, while the Druid is a support class that buff allies while using the totem to attack enemies.
"The day I first met them I happened to be going back to town to resupply," I said calmly.
Just saying made my blood boil, while a pang of regret stabbed at my chest.
