Part1: Chapter 4: A Request for Help

After two weeks from my departure from Xuelian, I spent the next week in the forest near Dag Ferishers, leveling after I changed to the Arcanist class. When I finally came back to town, I set out to buy more gear and replenish my provisions.

"Hey mister, hey mister!" a young boy called out.

"Excuse me sir, can we speak with you?" a young girl also called out.

"Hey mister don't ignore us, please!" The boy said aloud.

I turned around, and standing there were two players, a young boy and girl whose appearance was similar, yet distinctly contrasted.

The boy wore blue and black heavy armor typically of a knight. His hair was a dark shade of purple, with a dark skin tone. Sticking out from his helmet was two long pointed ears like blades of grass. This boy had the appearance of a typical Navic, Avinirran. The girl on the other hand wore white and red cloth armor, appearing like a priestess or mage. Her hair was blonde and her skin fair with two long pointed ears. Again, the typical appearance of a Lavic Avinirran.

"Sure, what is it?" I asked looking down at the two.

"We want to party up!" the brother asked.

The girl who looked to be a few years older said, "excuse him, what he means is we're looking to find a party, can we join yours?" she said bowing deeply.

The two in front of me were asking to join my party. Giving them one more once over, they appeared as if they were about 16 to 17 years old. Immediately a thought crossed my mind.

How did these kids get sucked into this nonsense? How had they manage to complete the prerequisites for this event?

Even after months of going over forums, theories and lore, I was barely able to figure out all the cryptic messages and riddles, complete the required quests, and gather all the materials in time for the event. Yet somehow these two kids did it.
