"Thank you, both of you," I said as they both pulled back. "But back on topic, I think it's best if all three of us go in for counseling. This game is a lot and it's wearing us down. Tell me how you feel?" I asked.

Both Suna and Mani nodded.

"Yeah, I think we should," Mani said.

"Me too, I've been feeling, not well," Suna added.

"It's settled then. After we eat let's go schedule a few sessions. Also I think we should take few days of rest," I said.

All three of us nodded in agreement.

After our talk we went to go get some breakfast, followed by going to the location for counseling. We made an appointment for several sessions. The following day.

The days after felt as though they went by rather slowly. For the first two days we stayed away from adventuring. Then in the subsequent days we went back and completed some lesser dungeons and quests.

For Mani and Suna the sessions seemed to be helping and they seemed to be doing better. They seemed happier and more relaxed, the weight of the game and this bleak situation seemed to still be upon them, but as for me. It didn't help.

The nightmares kept coming and the pain and anxiety was constant. I kept dreaming about Xuelian and how I treated her.

I know I have to apologize. I know, but deep down I'm scared, but deeper still I want to hate myself. A deep desire of self-loathing was constantly in the back of my mind and a desire to get back out there so we can escape this death game.

I felt as though the only thing I got from those sessions is I have to stay focused, keep moving forward, and protect these two and hopefully I'll find the courage to apologize one day.
