Both Mani and Suna looked at me in anticipation. I sighed before continuing.
"I think we should go see a counselor," I said straight forward.
"What!" Both of them turned to each other and then to me their eyes wide with shock. "We're fine, Tsubasa, we promise," Suna said panicked.
"Yeah, we're good," Mani repeated the tone of his voice increasing.
"First off. Please calm down, and just listen, I'm not going to leave you too," I said, placing my hand on their shoulder.
They both reluctantly nodded.
"You're not alright. This is putting a lot of pressure on you. And Im not alright, either," I said.
"Tsubasa, we don't mean to be a burden," Suna said with Mani nodding vigorously.
What they said nearly broke my heart.
"Listen, you two. It has nothing to do with you two. It's something im going through. And it was something that I've been dealing with before I met you both. You both have helped me way more than I have helped you. You are not a burden, and never think that again, please," I said with a smile.
"Okay, Tsubasa, but why do you want to see a counselor?" Suna asked.
Maybe its about time I came clean to them.
"... well, let me explain," I said.
