The next dungeon we entered forest dungeon called [Sequestered Weald of Gwydion]. The forest was filled with monsters possessed by forest spirits or spirits that would take on the form of different animals and plants.
This dungeon was a maze-like forest covered in a dense fog. We became lost trying to figure out the path forward. Many times we were ended up back at the entrance or other times ended up in a [Monster House].
After several dead ends we found our way to the boss room.
This boss was a giant monster that looked like a cross between a lion, boar, and porcupine. The boss was constantly oozing a liquid that would move to protect the boss or attack the player. This liquid inflicted either the «Poison» or «Curse» status effects depending on whether the liquid was a purple or ashen grey color.
The boss's name was [Calyaetolath, The Cedar King].
[Calyaetolath] would charge in a straight line, or thrash around with the ooze whipping around its body.
After defeating the boss we got its core and opened a chest. To my surprise was another piece to the [Rite of Katharosia] the [Ruby Shard].
