🌺 3 weeks later 🌺

Veronica POV

My ankle is better now, and I can walk properly. Me and Ethan are now really close but not dating. People keep asking us if we are dating.

"Veronica!!" Mariah yelled.

She was coming towards me with Aaron. I don't know what it is but when Aaron is around I get scared or something, like it feels very different.

"Hey!" I said.

"Where are you going?" She asked me.

"To my class." I said pointing to my teacher that is standing outside the classroom.

"Did you bring your stuff?!?!" She asked me.

"What stuff?" I asked confused.

"Veronica, we have practice today." Mariah said while handling me a poster.

"OMG, I didn't." I say hitting the back of my head.

"You can go and get your stuff at lunch." Mariah said.

"No you can not." Aaron said.

"Why not?" I asked.

"Veronica, do you live under a rock?!?" Aaron said and I just rolled my eyes and walked away.

" VERONICA!!" Mariah yelled while running to me.

Aaron POV

"Veronica, do you live under a rock?!?" I said rudely.

She just rolled her eyes and walked away.

"Really Aaron?!?!" Mariah said.

"What?!?" I said.

"If you like her, be nice to her." Mariah said in a whisper.

"VERONICA!!" Mariah yelled while running behind her.

Be nice to her?! If I'm nice to her, she might figure out that I like her.

"Aaron, my best friend." Noah said.

"What do you want Noah?" I said while walking to my class.

"Burriss!!" He yelled.

I turned around and everybody in the hallway were looking at us. Even Mariah and Veronica were looking at us.

"What?" I said to everyone.

"Lets talk outside." Noah said while pulling my hand.

We walked outside.

"What the hell is wrong with you??" I said very pissed.

"Tell the truth Burriss." Noah said.

"Ok." I said while raising on of my eyebrows.

"Do you like Veronica?!" He asked me.

"No, why?" I asked.

"Are you sure?" He asked while getting closer to me.

"Yes Noah." I said while pushing him away and walking back to class.

Veronica POV

"Mariah, I can't stand your brother." I said while turning to her.

"You can't go during lunch cause the principal said we can't go out the campus for a month." Mariah said.

"Per-" I said but I got interrupted by Noah yelling.

"Burriss!!" Noah yelled.

We turn around and saw Noah pulling Aaron out the building.

"What is wrong with them?" I said very confused.
