Chapter 15

Mariah POV

I was looking around when I saw Veronica and Aaron kissing in Starbucks.

"OMG, Dylan." I said while hitting him lightly. He was talking to Noah.

"What?!?" He said annoyed.

Noah was on his phone when I pointed inside Starbucks.

"They look so cute." Dylan said and we started laughing.

"Oh shit, they're coming." Dylan said and we acted like nothing happened.

Veronica POV

When I kissed Ethan some days ago, it felt different from the kiss with Aaron. I'm not saying that Aaron is a better kisser, I'm saying that it felt better then Ethan's.

We walked to Mariah, Dylan, and Noah.

"Where are your guys drinks?" Mariah asked.

"Umm..... it was a long line." I said while pointing to it.

"Hey Veronica." Ethan said and I turned and saw them coming.

"Hey." I said while smiling.

We look at a lot of stores and shoes for 2 hours. I bought a new pair of white vans and black ones.

"It's now 8 o'clock. I think we should go home now. It's going to be a long ride if we have traffic." Aaron said.

We walked out and jumped in his car.

"We are so lucky." Aaron said while driving the freeway full of cars.

"This is going to take a while." Noah said.

I rest my head on the window. I was so tired from today. I turned around saw Mariah laying on Dylan's shoulder and Noah on Mariah's shoulder. Dylan was resting his head on the window.

I rest my head on the window again and closed my eyes. I was falling asleep when I heard a whisper. I tried to pay attention to it but it was too quiet. I moved a little so I can hear.

"I love you Veronica, you don't even know." It was Aaron. I was shocked.

"Really??" I asked.

"Umm...... Veronica?? You're awake." Aaron said while blushing.

"Yeah, I'm a light sleeper." I said while giggling.

"So........it's true?" I asked nervously.

"About what?" Aaron asked me.

"That you like me." I said while looking at him.

"I said that??" He asked.

"Aaron." I said while laughing and hitting his shoulder lightly.

"Yeah, it's true. I have always liked you, Veronica." Aaron said while stopping the car.

"Then why did you hurt me all this time??" I asked.

"I didn't want you to know that I liked you." Aaron said.

He starts to lean in and our lips touched. We moved in sync but then we pulled away.

"I love you." Aaron said.

"I love you too." I said.

Aaron starts to drive home. His hand was on my thigh the whole way home.

We got to Noah's house first cause his mom is strict about being late.

"Noah, this is your house." Aaron said.

He woke up and stepped out.

"Bye guys, see ya tomorrow." Noah said while walking inside his house.

We drove to my house next.

Aaron walked me to the front door.

"Thank you." I said.

"You're welcome." Aaron said.

I was opening the door, when Aaron turned me around and smashed his lips on mine. He puts his hand on my waist. I kissed him back and puts my arms around his neck.

"Yaayyyyyyy!!" Mariah yelled while stepping out the car and jumping up and down.

"Bye, I have to go." I said while looking at my mom staring at me from inside the house.

I walked inside my house as Aaron walked to his car.

I closed the door behind me and my mom was staring at me very mad.

"Yes??" I asked.

"WHY WERE YOU KISSING THAT GUY OUTSIDE MY HOUSE?" My mom yelled.

"Just because." I said while walking upstairs.

"YOU CAN NOT HAVE A BOYFRIEND!" My mom yelled and I stopped.

"Wait.....first off, you left me for months and come back saying that I can't have a boyfriend......... Look mom I respect your opinion b-"

"IT'S NOT A OPINION, IT'S A RULE!" She yelled.

"Ok, I'm sorry, a rule??! It doesn't mean that I'm going to follow it." I said while walking upstairs and inside my room. I closed my door.

I put my pajamas on and laid down in my bed, thinking about what happened earlier.

I can't believe my bully really likes me. It is so weird.
