Chapter 11

Aaron POV

Mariah punched me.

"Ouch!" I said.

"Aaron, are you stupid???" She asked me while crossing her arms.

"Weren't you crying??" I asked while standing up.

"Ethan was right." She whispered.

"What?? About what??" I asked getting closer to her.

"Look, I asked Ethan if you could have a girlfriend like Veronica and he said that if you hurt them like you do with Veronica, there is no way." Mariah said and I was looking at her.

I saw Ethan carrying Veronica and spinning her around. She had her face on his neck.

"You see, you have to be like him." Mariah said while walking to the building.

Ethan puts down Veronica and he helped her with her backpack.

"I have to do that??" I asked myself.

I walked inside the building and they were laughing.

Veronica POV

⚽️After school⚽️

School ended and now I have soccer practice. I walked outside the building and saw Ethan coming my way. They didn't have practice today so he is coming with me. Hannah and Aaron is coming too.

I put my shorts, my socks, and my shoes on. I started to run on the track. A couple of girls were already on the track. I love running so much! I can run a mile without stopping.

"VERONICA, WAIT!!" Mariah yelled and I stop.

She caught up to me and we started to jog together.

The coach called us to play a little game. My group versus Mariah's group.
My group won both rounds.

"Good game Mariah." I said stretching my arm.

"It was alright. I wasn't even trying." She said.

She put her arm around my neck and we start to walk to the lockers.

We changed and walked out the lockers. I saw Hannah and Ethan waiting for me.

I walked to them. I was so tired.

"Hey guys!" I said while putting my bag and backpack on the floor.

"Veronica, you were amazing. Now I know why you are the captain." Ethan said.

"Veronica, are you ok??" Hannah asked me.

"Yeah I'm fine, just tired." I said smiling.

"Ok then." Hannah said while grabbing my bags.

"No Hannah, I'm fine." I said.

Ethan then turned his back so it was facing me.

"What??" I asked.

"Jump." Ethan said.

"Thank you Ethan, but I'm fine." I said tapping his back.

"I'm waiting." He said.

"OMG, Ethan." I said while laughing.

"Are you going to jump on?" He asked.

"Veronica, just do it." Hannah said while giggling.

"Fine." I said.

I jump on Ethan's back. He put his hands on my thighs and walked to Hannah's car. I put my arms around his neck. I turned around and saw Mariah with Aaron looking at us.
