Chapter 28

Veronica POV

Ethan was driving to Emma's house. We got in the driveway and walked to the front door.

"Hey guys, come in." Emma said.

We walked in her house and Hannah and Dylan were already there.

"Hey guys." I said.

"ETHAN, HANNAH, COME AND HELP ME PLEASE!!" Emma yelled from the kitchen.

I sat down next to Dylan on the couch and crossed my arms.

"How's life??" Dylan asked me.

"It's good." I said while smiling.

Dylan was telling me jokes. I was laughing so hard that I could barely breathe.

"What's so funny??" Ethan asked.

"Nothing." Dylan said but I was still laughing.

"Veronica, chill." Ethan said while smiling.

"Sorry." I said while smiling.

"Ok, so lets go watch a scary movie." Emma said.

"Oh, lets watch..... The purge." Hannah said.

"The purge??" I asked confused.

"Yeah, it's a new movie on Netflix." Hannah said while looking it up on her phone.

Ethan sat down next to me so I was between Ethan and Dylan. Hannah was on the floor with Emma.

Hannah press play on the movie and it was really creepy. I'm not sure if I was able to sleep at night.

At the middle of the movie, Hannah needed to go to the bathroom. We were still watching the movie until Hannah scared me.

"STOOOP!!" I yelled while covering my eyes.

"I'm so sorry." Hannah said while laughing.

"YOU F*CKING SCARED ME!!" I yelled as tears started to go down my face.

"Aw, don't cry." Ethan said while hugging me lightly.

"Omg Veronica, I'm so sorry." Hannah said.

I uncovered my eyes and wiped my tears away.

"Veronica, I'm sorry." Hannah said while hugging me.

"It's alright." I said while smiling.

We press play on the movie.

I put my head on Ethan's shoulder. My eyes started to feel heavy til I fell asleep.

"Next, let's take you to your house." Ethan whispered in my ear and I nodded.

"We better get going. Veronica is tired. I'll take her to her house." Ethan said.

I was about to stand up until Ethan carried me bridal style.

"Ethan, I'm fine. I can walk to your car." I said while walking outside.

"It's ok with me." Ethan said.

He sat me down in the passenger seat. He took me to my house and walked me to the front door.

"Thank you. Today was amazing." I said.

"The best day of my life." Ethan said.

Before I could walk in my house, Ethan smash his lips on mine. I kissed him back and we were moving in sync. We pulled away and he pecked my lips. I walked in the house and then to my room.

My mom already left so I'm home alone.

I took a shower and then I laid on my bed.
