Chapter 37

I walked out my house. I was a mistake in my mom's life. I mean Wendy's life. When I walked out, Aaron already left. Hannah's house is next to mine but I can't go there. My mom will make me go back home. I'm going to Emma's house. It's just 2 blocks away from mine. I got there and I knocked on the door.

"Veronica?!?! What's wrong????" Emma said while hugging me. We pulled away and she pulled me into her house.

"Who is it??" Emma's mom asked.

"It's Veronica." Emma said and she rushed down the stairs.

"Veronica, what's wrong??" She asked me. I couldn't hold my tears anymore. I started crying and Emma hugged me tightly.

"Mom, call Aaron." Emma said.

"Who's Aaron?!?" She asked me.

"Just look in my contacts for Aaron." Emma said.

"Veronica, please tell me what happened." Emma said while turning around and sitting me down on the couch.

Aaron POV

I wanted to stay here but if her mom sees me, she will yell at me or do something worst. I walked to my car and drove home. When I got home, I got a phone call from Emma.

"Yes??" I asked.

"Um..... hi Aaron??" Someone said.

I checked the name to make sure if it was Emma. It was but her voice sounds different.

"Yes, that's me." I said.

"Ok, I'm Emma's mom. I'm calling you because Veronica is here crying. We don't know the reason why. Please come over." Emma's mom said.

"I'm on my way." I said and hung up.

I ran to my car and drove to Emma's house.

Veronica POV

Emma was trying to calm me down.

"Veronica, we need to know what happened." Emma said.

Someone knocked on the door and Emma's mom opened it. She moves to the side letting Aaron walk in.

"Veronica, what's wrong?!?!" Tell me what happened after I left." Aaron said.

I told them what my mom said word by word. I was holding back my tears. Aaron hugged me tightly.

"You can stay here if you want Veronica. This is your home." Emma's mom said and I smiled.

Aaron pulled me to his lap and I rest my head on his chest.

"We are going to leave you guys alone." Emma said while walking upstairs.

I stopped crying and my eyes started to feel heavy. I eventually fell asleep.

Aaron POV

Veronica fell asleep. Her nose are so red and her eyes are puffy.

"Aaron, you can lay her down in the guest's room. You can also stay if you want." Emma's mom said.

I carried her to the guest's room and laid her down in bed. I kissed her forehead and then I walked out.

"Don't." Veronica said while grabbing my hand.

"Please stay. I don't want you to leave." Veronica said.

I sat down next to her and she scoots over which means she wants me to lay down. I the laid down next to her.

"You're not an asshole Aaron, please don't listen to my mom. I love you, please don't leave me." Veronica said.

"I'm not going to leave you............because I love you." I said.
