"Leah, you can't be serious..." Jack starts.
"Look, I have to do this, besides, it isn't going to last... you know what that means." I reply.
"I hope you know that you don't have to get married to him." He replies.
Am I stupid for still marrying him? Maybe. But what choice do I have? I've loved him for God knows how long and I know that what's happening to him is just a phase.
Instead of ruining my wedding day, I keep my vision to myself and hope that it doesn't happen.
Mel zips my dress up, her cold fingers run the zipper up to my back. Leanne begins doing my makeup, she slowly brushes various blushes and powders all over my face.
All I can picture is the gun, the blood, so much blood. But the thing that sticks in my mind more than anything else, Garrison dies.
A knock at the door distracts me from my thoughts. Mel practically leaps to open the door, revealing Garrison at the other side.
"Leah, you've got company." Mel announces.
"Hey, it's bad luck to see the bride before the wedding!" Leanne steps in front of me, blocking Garrison from seeing me.
"I need to talk to Leah." He replies urgently.
"Speak to her through the door, she isn't to be seen before then!" Mel exclaims, and slams the door in his face. Leanne and I exchange confused looks. Where did that 1940's tone come from?!
"Leah, please tell me what..."
"I already told you what happened." I pipe.
"You told me that I killed you, Jack has a nasty bruise on his nose, you're a werewolf again, and Ian's hands are stained red." He replies.
"Exactly, Jack changed me because you killed me... it was the only way to save me. Jack had his fair share of injuries too, you need to go apologize to him." I explain.
"I am so sorry, I didn't know that I was doing all of this. I love you, Lee's." He mumbles.
"I know, that's why I'm getting ready to marry you." I reply. Mel begins putting strands of my hair into a curling iron, the grasp of the iron clip slightly tugs on my hair. "I love you too, Garrison."
I know Mel slightly yanked my hair on purpose. She doesn't want me marrying him after what happened. With my vision and the stupid promise Garrison has with Jack, I need to do this. Garrison deserves one good day full of the people he loves and cares about. After everything Jake put them through over the years, they all deserve a calm, peaceful night.
After what seems like centuries, we prepare for the wedding. Mel, Leanne, Kara, Triniti, and Emily have their peach dresses on. I have my wedding dress on, a blue pin pinned to my dress, each strand of hair loosely curled, my tallest heels on, moms old wedding veil clipped to my hair, and my bouquet in hand. I examine each flower, a variety of peach and white flowers.
"I want you to have these as your something new." Ian states holding a box in his hand.
He slowly opens the lid, revealing gorgeous tear shaped diamond earrings. The diamonds glisten in the beaming sunlight.
