I wake in a bed, not mine though... Garrison's. His Axe cologne lingers in the air, slowly dancing around the room. The room is quiet, the boys are no where in sight.
The only sound audible is the clock hanging on the wall in the living room. I shift in the bed and groan, my head pounds. Cameron comes in and sits at the bottom of the bed.
"Thank God you're okay." Cameron acknowledges followed by a polite smile.
"I need to see him." I reply bluntly.
"No, you need rest." He replies. He glances at my wound and back to my eyes.
"No, she wants to see him, so she should." Jake chimes. He stands shirtless in the doorway. Not a scratch on his chest.
An evil smirk spreads across his lips. God I can't even being to express the amount of hatred I have towards him.
"She hasn't broken any of your rules, you can't touch her." Cameron states. He gets up from the bed and stretches his hand in front of me.
"You're right," Jake pauses for a moment and looks down at the floor, then back at Cameron. "but you have." I look up at Cameron, my brows furrow. I toggle confused glances between Cameron and Jake. Cameron's jaw clenches, looking back at the wrinkled white sheets beside him. Jake's stone cold look cause the room to drop fifteen degrees for a moment. In that moment, I knew something was terribly wrong.
"What... What is he talking about, Cam?" I question.
"Tell her Cameron." Jake demands.
"I talked to your mother... she knows." Cameron mumbles under his breath.
"What... why... why did you call her?" I ask.
"She's a hunter, if you would've died, she would've came here and killed us immediately." Cameron replies.
"She's a human..." I whisper. Jake can torture him, worse, he can kill him.... My head snaps up from glancing at the bed. "no! Jake you can't do this!" I plead.
"It's a rule, you break one, you get punished." Jake replies.
"No! Ian, help, please!" I beg. Ian walks into the room and sighs.
"I can't." He replies.
"You take him, you take me." I snap at Jake.
"Step aside, before I make you disappear." He warns.
"Stop, Leah. Let it go." Cameron begs.
"Leah, please." Ian begs. I raise my hands in surrender. Jake pushes Cameron's back to make him walk. I wait until they are gone, left with Ian, Jack, and Brent.
"Where is he taking him?" I ask.
"A sound proof basement, bound to chains, starves them, beats them, and brings them back here. He never lets them forget what they've done." Brent whispers. Jack walks in with gritted teeth.
"Do you honestly want to see him?" He asks. I nod, tears pour down my face. I can't imagine the awful things he's done to Garrison and going to do to Cameron.
"We have to hurry, by the time Jake gets back, he goes out to hunt. We have to be back before then." He warns. We all nod. Brent and Ian help me out of bed, I groan. My stomach is still sore.
"Let me see it." Ian says, seeing how much pain I'm in. He places his hand on my wound, small red lines appear on his fingers. My wound starts to go away, only leaving a white line as a scar.
"How did you do that?" I ask, astonished that my wound disappeared.
"We can heal and take pain from others." He replies.

Jack opens the door to an old abandoned house, it seems like it has been vacant for fifty years. Holes in the floorboards creak, sending their warnings of oncoming danger. Ian and Brent still holds onto me, to keep me supported. We all slowly walk down the stairs, leading to a dark area.
Finally at the basement, I look around to the dark room. I see a blurry image of two guys, bound by chains. Their heads hung to the ground. Groans and soft cries fill the air. A strong metallic scent fills the air along with the faintest scent of Garrison's cologne. At the first sound of footsteps, Cameron eyes my posture.
I slowly walk to the them, my body struggling to carry itself. I cautiously walk to them, if I could run I would've been there by now. Ian, Brent, and Jack stay by the stairs, leaving me some time with Garrison and Cameron. Still ten feet away, I'm so far, I can't wait to hug him and make sure he's okay.
"Garrison?" I call. He picks his head up.
"Leah?" He calls back. Shivers run down my spine, it is him.
"What are you doing here?" He asks.
"I needed to see you, I..." I pause and break down into tears.
"What happened? How are you down here?" He asks. I hang my head and cry. I hear his chains rattle, he's breaking them. I look at him and see the chains hang at his sides, swinging from his wrists. He runs to me, we are at least 10 feet apart.
His run turns to a sprint.
"Leah." He sighs, he fumbles to undo the chains still bound on his wrist. "What did you do?" He asks softly. He wipes the tears from my cheeks and cups my face in his hands. I close my eyes and cry even more.
"You gave me strength, so I did what I had to." I mumble under my breath.
"You didn't go after him did you?" He asks. I sigh.
"You kept this from me for five years, you tried to protect me, and I just threw myself into your world... I..."
"I'm so sorry." I cry.
"You didn't... you didn't get hurt, did you? You didn't get bit, tell me you didn't." He begs, he hangs his head. "Please tell me you didn't get bitten!" He mumbles under his breath.
"I'm so sorry." I whisper.
"How could you let this happen?" He asks the guys, still sitting on the stairs.
"I'm sorry." I mumble under my breath. I rush over to Cameron and fumble to undo the chain.
"You are going to get hurt, Leah." Cameron states.
"I don't care, if it means saving my friends and family, then I'm gonna do everything I can do to protect you all." I reply.
