Kurt sighed, staring off into the distance rather than paying attention to his class. He'd been a Dalton a week, just a week, and it was absolute heaven.

No harassment, no unwanted attention, no slushees...

Kurt was enjoying the infancy of the relationship while it lasted, but after class, Blaine brought up someone he hadn't even considered.

"Hey, so, I'm going home to the weekend, as you know. But my parents invited you for dinner, if you don't have plans?" Blaine asked hopefully.

Kurt froze in his tracks. "Your- your parents." He repeated faintly.

Blaine laughed. "Yes, my parents. So can you come? Please?"

Not wanting to make Blaine unhappy, Kurt nodded slowly. "I'd love to come." He responded with false cheer, smiling.

Blaine grinned. "Yes! I know they'll love you, they already do from what they've heard."

Kurt's smile wavered. Great, he had to live up to the expectations. "I'm sure I'll love them too."
