Avery's door clicks shut as a knock sounds at the door and I sigh. I just wished Avery would let me avoid this conversation at little bit longer. I look down at Leah and find that so far she's slept through the ordeal and I chuckle. She certainly got that trait from Jason, the man could sleep through a tornado.
I take one last calming breath before heading over to the door and pulling it open to find my fiancè standing on the other side. "Hey" he breathes out.
"Hi" I reply shortly, leaning against the door. "You uh wanna come in?"
He nods, brushing past me and I close the door behind him while he situates himself on the couch. "Molly-."
"I'm not doing this" I interrupt him, shaking my head. "We go around and around in circles and everytime I think we've made progress we end up right back here. I can't change my past and I wish I knew why you think that I care that you're beliefs are a little different from mine when all I care about is how much you care about me and Leah. I'm not perfect but no one is and no relationship is perfect and you have to stop trying to find some magical solution to fix us because all that's going to salvage this relationship is if you stop acting like you're somehow above me because you're still a virgin."
He stares at me blankly for a few moments before he speaks. "I don't think I'm above you. Molly, ever since we met it's been nothing but challenge after challenge with my faith and then today I finally found some sort of light and to find out she was probably just screwing with me-."
"Why are you struggling so much Eli? Talk to me, let's discuss what's going on so we can fix it" I plead as I take a seat in front of him on the coffee table.
He sighs. "It's the temptation" he explains. "It was easy when we were still just boyfriend and girlfriend, living apart and only seeing each other on the weekends but now, all I can think about is what it would be like to be with you and it's driving me insane."
I bring my bottom lip between my teeth, the words bubbling up inside me almost making me sick just to think about. Clearly this arrangement wasn't working and it seemed I'd have to be the one to put an end to it. "Then maybe me and Leah should move out."
His eyes widen and he immediately begins shaking his head in disagreement. "No, no. We can come up with some other solution-."
"No we can't" I argue. "I think that maybe we just need some space" I add as I stand up but he catches my wrist to stop me.
"Molly I don't want you to move out. That's the last thing I want."
I sigh. There was only one other solution I could come up with that would allow me and Leah to stay in the apartment while also giving me the space we needed. "If we don't move then I think I should move into Leah's room until we're married."
"You want to share a room with Leah?"
I chuckle. "No of course not but it's the only other solution I can think of that will give us space and maybe reduce some of the temptation you feel towards me."
"You really think it'll work?" he asks and I shrug.
"I think it has to" I reply honestly. If this idea failed then we might have to have a serious conversation and figure out if we really are meant to be together for the rest of our lives.

2 Weeks Later
I stare at the completed transformation that is Leah's bedroom. Her crib was now situated against the right wall while my bed was pushed up against the adjacent one. It took a lot of work to fit everything inside the small room but I had to admit it looked pretty good.
