I stand on the front porch of Avery's apartment building and ring her and Hayden's place. I had already texted Jason to tell him to drop Leah off here instead of my place and while he was a tad confused he didn't push. I exhale a deep breath as Avery's voice crackles through the speaker.

"Hello" she answers.

"Hey Av."

"Moll? What's going on?" she asks confused and I let out a deep sigh, running my fingers through my hair.

"I'll explain everything I just-I need a place to stay tonight."

She sighs. "Oh Molly. Of course, come on up" she says, unlocking the door. I open the door and head up the steps to their apartment, finding their door open when I get there with Avery standing outside. "What'd he do?" she asks worriedly.

"Same thing different day" I reply in exhaustion. "It's getting extremely frustrating to be the girl he has to justify his feelings for" I add as I step into their apartment while she shuts the door behind me.

I look around the small space and smile. They had just moved into the place but it was already almost completely decorated and the space seemed to be a perfect combination of the two of them. The living room had a small couch and an entertainment center that housed their television and the surrounding walls held countless pictures of the two of them and their families. I sigh, sometimes it was easy to get jealous of them, they had this couple thing down while it seemed like I'd never find that groove with Elliot.

"Moll no one said dating him was going to be easy. He's different than the rest of us. He has a different set of beliefs, he had a different upbringing, there's a never-ending list but he does love you and blowing up every time one of you says something dumb won't fix things." I knew she was right but I wasn't necessarily a think before you do type of person. In fact, I hardly ever thought before I spoke.

I groan, collapsing onto the couch. "It's just so hard not to blow up at him" I admit. "I already feel like I'm not good enough for him and everytime he talks about how hard it is to be with me I just feel like-."

"He would be better off without you" she fills in and I nod. "But that's not what he wants Moll. He wants to be with you, he moved in with you for goodness sake and he's amazing with Leah" she adds. "You need to stop pushing him away and you need to stop feeling like you're worthless because you've made some mistakes in the past."

The two of us could probably go around and around all night but at this point I was exhausted and I just wanted tonight to be over with.

"I just want to get some rest" I admit as the apartment is buzzed again. Avery's eyebrows furrow in confusion, she wasn't expecting any company tonight and now her apartment was suddenly becoming grand central station.

"Av it's Jase" Jason's voice filters into the room and Avery looks towards me.

"He has Leah" I explain simply and  she nods in understanding and stands up to buzz him in and within seconds he's on her doorstep.

I walk over to the door as Avery hangs back behind us. "Hey Molls" he says carefully as he hands our daughter off to me. "You doing alright?"

I force a smile onto my face. "I've had better days but I'm alright. Thanks Jase." I didn't know how it happened but somehow things had calmed down between the two of us. I was no longer that girl who despised him for the way he treated me in high school, now I was just a girl in his past...one that got pregnant with his kid.

He shoves his hands into his pockets and shrugs. "You know I'm always here for you" he says sweetly and my heart swells as I nod.

"I do" I confirm. "Thank you for watching Leah."
