You know life is full of surprises some good and some bad. They can happen at any random time and they can have a huge impact on your life or maybe even change it. Well when I was 10 I got a big surprise. I was in hospital when I got told I was diagnosed with lung cancer and it wasn't a happy day that day. Both my parents cried so much and to tell the truth so did I. Like it's the worst feeling in the world to get told you have cancer it's like someone is cutting your life away and at one point there will be nothing to cut because you won't be here anymore and it scares me. I mean it would scare anyone thinking about death. But when you get told that it makes you realise how important life is and how you should live everyday like it's your last because who knows you could die tomorrow. Even tho I have three friends I still try and make the most of everything I have. But now I'm 17 and it's my birthday tomorrow and my parents wanted to do something big for me but they couldn't really do something big since I had tests on my birthday which meant hospital day on my birthday. But today I was on my bed with a pen and paper and I decided to make a bucket list for things I want to do before I die. I began writing things I wanted to do.

2. Go somewhere no one knows my name
3. Go to a concert
4. Meet 5 seconds of summer
5. Read a book
6. Kiss someone in the rain
7. Go to Disneyland
8. Go to Paris
9. Touch snow
10. Fall in love

13. Travel the world
14. Learn guitar
15. Write a song
16. Go somewhere fancy
17. Go camping
18. Make someone smile
19. Ride in a limo
20. Get a puppy
21. Get a tattoo
They where all I could think of right now maybe when I think of some more I'll add them. I folded the piece of paper and sat it on my bed side table with the pen on top before I reached for my phone.
"Violet" I heard my mum yelled as I sighed and put the phone down on my bed before I sat up on my bed.
"Coming" I yelled back as I stood up and began walking down to the kitchen where mum was.
"You have a friend at the door" she said smiling as I smiled back and continued to walk to the door before I opened it to see Alice with a book in her hand.
"Hey Violet I've been reading this book and it's really sad but I think you would like it" she said handing me a blue book with two clouds on it that read 'the fault in our stars'.
"Thanks I'll start reading it soon and thanks for the warning" I said as she smiled.
"All good and then we can go see the movie together when it comes out" she spoke wow this must be a good book if their making a movie about it.
"Well I gotta go shopping with the parental's I just thought I would drop this off to you" she said smiling as I gave her a hug.
"Thanks and have fun" I said smiling as she laughed and walked off to the car waving. I watched as the car drove off before I shut the door and walked back to mum.
"So?" She asked placing mac and cheese in front of me as I placed the book on the table next to the food and sat down.
"She wanted me to read this book see it's called the fault in our stars and she said its sad" I spoke before I started to eat my food and my mum looked at the book. Once I finished I stood up and tucked my chair in before mum took my bowel and I grabbed my book.
"Thanks mum" I said as she smiled and I walked back up to my room before lying back on my bed and grabbing my earphones and putting them in my ears and plugging them into the phone before I swiped the screen and clicked on the music icon before putting on some music and turing the phone off before placing it beside me while stay with me by Sam smith started to play and I began reading the book.
CALUM'S POV:
We just finished a recording session and we all were in the car with our manger.
"I hope the fans love our album" Luke said look behind his seat to look at me.
"I bet they will" I said smiling as he smiled back.
"Yes.... Yes.... Yes.... No what is wrong with you you stupid little bird" Michael said shaking his phone as we all looked at him funny and he looked at us.
"Sorry flappy bird is annoying me" he replied as we laughed.
"All good man you tell that bird" Ashton said before we got told to shhh and we all looked to the front to see the back of our mangers head and his phone to his ear.
"Oh really............ Yeah........... No no they don't have anything on tomorrow.................. I'm sure they would be happy to............... Yep okay bye" we heard him say before he turned around to face us.
"Okay so your probably wondering what that call was about well someone's parents rang up and asked if you guys could visit the hospital tomorrow for someone's birthday?" He asked as we nodded.
"Yeah sure that's all good" Ashton said smiling.
"We don't mind" Luke added.
"So what time are we going tomorrow?" Michael asked putting his phone away.
"Um a bit after lunch because she has tests all in the morning" he replied so where visiting a girl.
"Do you know how old she is?" I asked as he shook his head.
"Sorry no but you can find out tomorrow" he replied as we all nodded when the car stopped and we all hopped out. We walked inside and I sat on the beanbag and decided to check twitter and what the fans where up to. I had so many notifications and messages from fans and more people followed me.
"Boys I'm making dinner" Ashton yelled from the kitchen.
"Don't burn the place down Ash" Mikey yelled from the couch playing his play station 4 as I heard a laugh from Ash. By the time dinner was ready we thanked Ash and grabbed our plates before we began to eat and it was good that Ash could cook cause that meant we didn't need to learn and we didn't need to get take out everyday. Once we all finished we packed the dishwasher and put it on before I went up to my room and placed my phone on charge and jumped in bed before falling asleep.
