Chapter 3

The last two weeks of summer flew by. Lisa got up early for she was excited to start school. "Ms. Pegasus, are you ready" Riku asked. "Almost, but I'm going to be walking to school today" Lisa said. "But Lisa, you don't know the way" Riku said. "Don't worry, I'm meeting some friends at Yugi's place and we are all walking together" Lisa expined. She agreed to be picked up after school.

After she finished getting ready she headed out the door. She ran into Téa before reaching Yugi's house. "You ready for your first day" Téa asked. "Yeah. Just alittle nervous" Lisa said. They reached Yugi's house. His grandfather was outside sweeping the ground. "Good morning Mr. Muto" Téa said. "Good morning girls" Mr. Muto said. Then Yugi came out. "Hey Téa, hey Lisa" Yugi said. "you ready" Téa asked. "Yup" Yugi said. Then they headed to school.

At the school everyone was excited. Lisa got her schedule. "Where is room 110" she asked. "Fallow me, that's my first class too" Yugi said. "Mine too" Téa said. They walked to their first class and met the teacher. "Can I see your schedule Lisa" Yugi asked. "Sure" Lisa said handing him her schedule. "Well what do you know. We are in every class together" Yugi said. "Really" Lisa asked. "yup" Yugi said handing her back the schedule. "I think mine is the same too" Téa said. She was right. Joey and Tristan where all in the same classes too.

Everyone found their lockers. Lisa's locker was next to Téa's locker. Lisa had to get used to changing shoes for school. It was an exhausting day for everyone. After school Riku was waiting for Lisa. "You guys want a ride home? It been tiring for everyone" Lisa offered. "Sure why not" Yugi said. "I always wanted to ride in a limo" Joey said. "Me too, this will be fun" Tristan said. "Thanks Lisa" Téa said. All of them hoped in the limo. The last one to be dropped off was Yugi.

Before they reached the game shop Lisa decided to tell Yugi her secret. "Yugi, can you keep a secret?" Lisa asked "sure" Yugi said. "Don't laugh, but I will understand if you don't believe me" Lisa said. She took a deep breath. "Well you know my necklace right" Lisa said holding it up. "Yeah, I was going to ask about that, it looks just like my millennium puzzle." Yugi said. "Well there is a sprit in my necklace. Well it's not a necklace, it's a puzzle. Anyways, the sprit of the puzzle doesn't have memories of her past." Lisa said. "I believe you" Yugi said. "Really?" Lisa said.

After Yugi was dropped off Lisa went home. She did her homework and was thinking about Yugi. "He really believed you?" Yama asked. "Yeah, is that weird?" Lisa asked. "I remember in America no one believed you. I'm convinced Yugi might be the vessel for my husband" Yama said. "But I won't know for sure until I see him" Lisa took out the drawing Yama drew. "They do look a lot a like. Like how you and I look a lot a like" Lisa said. "Yeah, well you better get to bed. You have school tomorrow" Yama said.

The next day Lisa and Téa were at their lockers getting ready for class. Téa found a note in hers. It said it was from Yugi. "Whoa, Yugi found a place for me to have a dance studio" Téa said. "Cool" Lisa said. "He wants me to meet him after school in the gym" Téa said. "Can I come" Lisa asked. "Sure" Téa said.

After school they went to the gym where supplies were. Téa opened the door.   "Lisa let me take over. I have a bad feeling" Yama said to Lisa. "Okay take over" Lisa said. her puzzle started to glow and Yama came out. Then a strange man closed the door behind them.

"Who are you" Yama asked. "None of your concern, I didn't expect two of you but it works" the man said. "What do you want with us" Téa asked. "I want your money. I know that girl has some in her purse" he said pointing to Téa. Just then the door opened. "Téa, Lisa" Yugi yelled grabbing the man. They struggled and the man tossed Yugi. Téa tried to run but the man knocked her down too.

Then Yugi's puzzle started to glow and then he woke up and looked to be a more convenient form of Yugi. "It's him" Lisa thought since she could still see what was going on. "Why don't you try your luck with me" Yugi said in a more convenient voice. "What are you talking about kid" the man said. "It's a simple card game. We each draw a single card. The one with the most attack points wins." Yugi said. "If you win you are free to go, if I win I will decide your fate" the man laughed. Yugi asked if he was scarred. "Let me help" Yama said. "It's alright" Yugi said. The man drew his card. "Ha, try beating this. It's points are really high." The man said showing curse of dragon.

Yugi drew his card with his eyes closed. He opened them and said " and I drew the dark magician." He said. Yugi won. The man tried to punch Yugi but Yugi stuck his hand out and said "mind crush" the man was knocked out. "Are you alright Lisa" Yugi asked her. "I'm fine. We should check on Téa" Yama said. They woke her up and told her he would be bothering her anymore. Lisa took back over and Yugi looked like himself again. He no memory of what happened. Lisa saw and remembered everything.

Téa thanked Yugi and everyone walked home together. Téa went her own way leaving Lisa and Yugi alone. "So homecoming is coming up" Yugi said. "Yeah, that should be fun" Lisa said. "You going?" Yugi asked. "No, I don't have a date" Lisa said. "Well you could always go with me." Yugi said looking like he was thinking. Lisa gasped. "Really, you want to go with me" Lisa said. "Yeah. Is that okay?" Yugi asked. Lisa smiled. "I'd love to go with you Yugi." Lisa said.

Yugi went into the game shop and Lisa walked home by herself. Then Lisa realized that Yama was crying. "Yama are you okay" Lisa asked her. "I'm just in shock that's all. That was my husband but I couldn't tell him that." Yama said. "You will get your opportunity" Lisa said. Yama smiled. "you think so?" Yama asked. "I know so" Lisa said. That night she video chatted on her laptop with her father. "How's school" Mr. Pegasus asked. "It's good. I'm going to homecoming in a few weeks" Lisa said. "Ohh with kaiba-boy" her father asked. "No, I don't like Kaiba like that dad. I'm going with a boy I met before school. Besides Kaiba is a jounor." Lisa said."oh okay well I want you to get a dress for the occasion Saturday afternoon. You can bring your date" her father said. "Dad, homecoming is in like 2 months" Lisa said. "It will be closer than you think" her father said. "Well I got to go. I have school in the morning. Love you Dad" Lisa said. "Love you too sweetie" her father said.

Lisa had noticed a change in her father since receiving the millennium eye. She felt like she couldn't hide anything from him anymore. That night she had a weird dream. She dreamed of the three cards that caused her father so much problems. The Egyptian god cards. But they weren't attacking her. They were being gentle. She didn't understand why. "Obelisk, Scyther, Ra? I thought my father took you back to Egypt" Lisa said In her dream. "We have been stolen, beware." Scyther said. "I am the only one who wasn't stolen. Be careful" obelisk said. Then Lisa woke up. "Scyther the Sky Dragon, Obelisk the Tormentor, and the winged dragon of Ra" Lisa thought. Why where they coming to her mind. They were the one cards she hated. She dismissed it as a dream.
